Autopano giga vs pt GUI quick test, need help

I have apg & ptp and they have been great!

I have been getting stitching errors though that have been taking way too long to fix. Even
Using a tripod with pano head etc. Adding plenty of control points and so on.

So I downloaded a trial of pt GUI to test it out and see if any difference.  It seemed to stitch the same four fisheye images perfectly.

So I'm wondering what I might be doing wrong?

I use a canon 7d with the sigma fisheye 3.5 lens and a nnr1 pano head.

Thanks

Re: Autopano giga vs pt GUI quick test, need help

Hello,

Several customers have reported such behavior. There are indeed some fisheye testcases that are not perfectly stitched with the default settings. Nevertheless, setting the 'detection quality' to high seems to resolve these cases. By the way, we are working on this topic to further improve the results without control point editing.

If you wanna help us on that topic, I can give a look to your pictures. You may upload them on our ftp server (http://www.kolor.com/forum/t766-ftp-server).

Regards,
Thomas
