Hi All,
So I did a little bit of searching around the forums and found similar questions but not exactly the answer I was looking for...
I am building a tour of a 47 acre property with many buildings, and ~100+ nodes. Ideally, I would break it down into sections of 10 or so nodes each, so as not to build one HUGE tour and also so I can use different (smaller and more location appropriate "imageMaps"). I seem to understand that I could link from one tour to another by using a hotspot. I've done some messing around but failed, I did some reading and felt confused. I think it has to do with linking to the html file of the other tours, but I tried and this didn't work, maybe I did it wrong?
Maybe someone could shed some light on this, and give me some hints as to how to execute it?
(I am aware that 2.0 will be dealing with this, but would like to find at least a temporary solution).
Thanks!
Andy

I would use URL hotspots for this purpose (with _self attribute) - it is easy to store several tour on the server and clicking on a hotspot within one tour would load a different tour
If you can read .xml and know the code you can even make a dropdown menu that would load different tours

Ok so linking via URL worked really well and basically solves my problem for now.
But one quick question - the _self attribute opened the linked tour in a new tab (in chrome), any ideas or which option will open the linked tour in the SAME tab?
I'll be testing the different options, but it takes some time since I have to upload each attempt to the web to activate the web address.
Thanks again!

After some trial and error the answer is _parent...
Worked to link directly to another tour within the same tab.

OK - so yet another question about linking tours.
Is there a way to link multiple tours that are stored locally? Instead of putting the linked tours URL I'd like to link to the swf or html of locally stored tours.
Any thoughts?
