This last weekend while coming back from hike in the gorge, my friends
wife insisted we stop at this neighbor hood garage sale, setting there in
the rain was a merlin non-goto mount marked for $20.00, well I have one
already but 2 is better, right, and for $20.00 as is, what the hay. So now
I'm looking to attach a external DC-12 volt power supply for the unit.
In the manual, the only info for external power is DC 12-volt but
there is no Amp value, per chance anyone know the correct value.

FYI: For half case case of beer, extra, they came up with the hand controller, had
a broken connection, but was easy to correct.

First thanks to Mateusz Malinowski for your reply, it was a great help.
So here is what I finally did, went to Radio Shack and purchased a
universal adapter and here is the info for those of you interested
in knowing what product actualy work with the merlin mount.
(1) enercel AC-to-DC Power Adapter 12VDC-1.5A (273035B)
(1) enercel Adapterplug Tip "M" (2730344)
The power adapter was $30.00 US but the plug was Free with purchase.
So far both Merlin's are running just fine with this power adapter,
it is great way to save on battery's when testing out time lapse
sequences code. Not saying Radio Shack is the only way to go but maybe
this info will help those looking for a power adapter option for
testing purposes. zhiker.
