Anyone else have this problem? I have tried rendering two sets different of (HDR) images, 48 in one set, 60 in another, on Win Vista and Win 7 and in both cases the program gets stuck in the antighost phase. I left one of the sets running overnight and nothing changed.

2 sets synchronized or one after another?
''HDR" image: radiance RGBE or openEXR files?
so lets say 48 + 60 .exr files with in total of 120 GB on a win vista 32bit with 3GB RAM?

The two sets were not related. I first noticed this problem on my Win 7 machine (64 bits as I said in the post's subject, 16GB RAM) with the set of 48 images. It occurred to me that perhaps the problem was with my system because I had been thrashing it very hard all day. I thought I would try again later after rebooting my machine. I never did try that experiement again though because I had the same problem happen with a different set of images (the set of 60) on my Win Vista machine (again 64 bit, but only 8GB RAM).
The images are .hdrs, each approx 55MB in size.

ok. 48 hdr files with 55mb each + 30% compression = 73mb per image should not be a problem for 16gb nore 8gb computer. make sure other memory eater like PS are not running...
(no other idea...)

Aye; and the problem is still there with 3.0.3.
I have uploaded my source files and .pano to the FTP site - t16808.zip

Hi, I'm also having this problem when combining LDR (jpg) images into an HDR pano (using HDR output). I have 30 images (10x 3-bracket sets).
Like Aeriscera it's stopping at the Antighost part of the render.

I've uploaded two projects (toybox_antighost_2013_01_25.zip) which exhibit this behaviour.

Is anyone looking into this problem? Two of us have uploaded sets of images but I see no feedback.

Hello,
Sorry for the delay, here is an update on that topic. The 2 issues are distinct.
to aeriscera:
* The problem is now fixed. The coming release will contain the fix.
to toybox:
* The problem is that the stacks in your pano are not build. So, there is no way for the antighost to find a solution in a reasonnable time. The solution is quite simple, build your stacks in your pano, rendering should be ok.
Regards,
Thomas
