APG 3.0 Beta 2 (Win) - Local Geometry analysis

This feels like a bug:

In the editor I mark one image, left-click on it and choose "local geometry analysis". In earlier versions, and supposedly in 3 as well, it is supposed to analyse this image and its nearest nabours.
What it does in beta 2 is to analyse the whole pano ! Global geometry analysis. (A new feature ? ). In any case it is not what it's labeled and not what I wanted.

Leif

update:
It also involves the button in the CP editor. It shows two images and I want to add CP's, push the button and APG analyses the whole pano

Hi,
i just have encountered the same problem when inserting nadir pics. In 3B2...

- local geometry analysis analyses the whole pano
- AND local optimization optimizes the whole pano, which gives catastrophic results already described in other threads here in the forum.

greetings from germany

Re: APG 3.0 Beta 2 (Win) - Local Geometry analysis

I'm disappointed to see the same bug i B3
it makes the "local geometry analysis" useless, more like a PITA (it takes forever and the changes has to be reversed)

Re: APG 3.0 Beta 2 (Win) - Local Geometry analysis

Hello Leifs,

The local geometric analysis on right-click is solved in the coming version.
Concerning the button in the control point editor, it does geometric analysis on the whole pano.

Regards,
Thomas
