Panatour Pro and Actionscript?

Hi,  my apologies if this is already common knowledge but is it possible to code an action for a hotspot in Actionscript 3?

If not, are there any plugins that can facilitate this?

Thanks,
Mat

Re: Panatour Pro and Actionscript?

Hi Mat.. AS3 does work to some degree within ptp but things like mouse over on hot spots has issues... I have gotten some AS3 files to work but not all.. It also depends on how you add the swf.. What are you trying to achieve.... ??

Re: Panatour Pro and Actionscript?

Thanks for replying Destiny.  Actually, I wanted to include a hotspot button (or drop AS3 code on one of the built in Panotour hotspots), that communicates with an Adobe Captivate file.

Possible? Or will I just have to try it out?

Thanks,
Mat

Re: Panatour Pro and Actionscript?

emm.. it might be... but not with the current build of ptp without some additional coding.. Adding anything with html5 eLeaning media is going to have its issues since some browsers may not be able to view the contents.... If you upload some test media and provide the url, so I can give it a few test to see if its possible.. ptp V2 would probably be your best bet, but it depends on how quick you need it.. You would probably need to use an iFrame with a Lightbox Window or even JavaScript layers..

Give it a go and see what you can work out.. Thats all I do, somethings workout fine but others don't..
