Cutting Size not cutting it

I have a pano image that is 19000x9500. I loaded it in Panotour Pro 1.8 for Mac and hit the "Reduce Distortion" button. It sets the "Cube Face Size" to 6032. I manually set the "Cutting Size" to 512. When I build the tour, I expect the image tiles to be 512 but instead I get image tiles that are 377x377. If I set the "Cutting Size" to 1024 I get image tiles that are 754x754. Is this a bug? I need the image tiles to be a specific size.

Re: Cutting Size not cutting it

I'm creating a viewer that uses a different engine. Whenever I load an image that is not a power of two it creates a noticible stutter.

Re: Cutting Size not cutting it

Anyone? Isn't that the point of this option- to cut the images as a specific size? Why is this being ignored? Is there another option that needs to be set? Would it help if I changed the resolution of the pano image? If so, what size would work? What is the formula being used to calculate these slices?

I suggest to visit the KRPano-site. Panotour/Pro is a GUI for KRPano.
http://krpano.com/ here´s all the information that´s going deeper.

for the use of PTP the cutting-size only matters in terms of loading-speed.
