This pano was taken before I discovered or understood the benefit of a Pano Head. I was using a rail mouned on a ball head to get close to the nodal point.

Some times I'd just do it by hand too. This one was shot by hand.

BTW one of my pictures got accepted for Panobook 2012. One of my 3 submissions was my very first panoramic taken with my Pano Head. I'll know which one, when the postman arrives with my copy!!

I remenber wel lthe test done. What a result... Perfect reflec of the feeling you can have there in the early morning fog.
