While testing APG V3.0 A1 and A2
Missing functions and features:
•Yellow border lines around selected images in the editor are missing. Helpful in older versions to see overlapping zones between images.
•Blending pre-sets / Advanced settings dialog is not showing in render dialog box in the editor. In the main settings dialog box they appear.
Other points:
•Suppression of non-selected images in the editor window is far too bright.
•Some translations, e.g. all in the status bar, are not in „German“ when „German“ is selected in main settings.
•Sometimes multiple entries in RANSAC Model selection list after changing back to default settings and then select the list again.
Some new helpful features:
•Pan-function with mouse in the editor window. Paning around in large panos with the scroll bars is really painful.
•Shift-select in rows or fence-drag for selecting multiple images in the editor. Helpful in big panos.
•Colour correction: „Only colour“ option. Could be helpful for correcting when various White Balance.

Removed. Too complicate to create on the new projections.

Removed in render dialog box, but available in Quick Render. Go there, adjust internal render setting ( and see the influence in real time in the result ), then only go to render where you just set file format, size, etc.

I have no idea about what you are talking about ...

No translation has been done yet.

That's a bug: issue 1469

Space bar + drag isn't enough ?

True. Added to feature request

Added for v3.1

Oh dear - I think that's a major loss of useability. I found that outline feature very useful when exploring stitching errors.
Is there no chance of it being restored in any projection mode?

That's unfortunate! But I agree, complicated with the new projections.
But this way no one has an orientation, where one image starts and the other ends.
Somehow, there must be a possibility to make the overlap zones visible.
It's also very important when setting marks for keep or remove ghosts.
Idea: Selected image (A) no fade out, hovered image (B) fade out 20%, rest of the pano fade out 40%.
Is then the overlap zone between (A) and (B) visible ?

Ok, that's a new way to do, but ok.

When selecting an image in the editor, the rest of the pano is grayed out. This outgraying is far to bright for my taste.
It is so strong that it disrupts.

Yes, that is absolutely enough !!! ![]()

It seems this point is crucial. I've made some screenshots here :
1582 => one single hovered ( mouse cursor inside panorama zone, so there is a fade out of everything except hover or selection )
1583 => one single image selected ( red circle around number ) + one image hovered
1583 => one selection, mouse cursor outside preview zone => no fade out

Hi Alexandre
Yes, with this example, it shows nicely that no one has an idea where one image starts and an other ends.
So how can one identify this way ghosts and mark them in the corresponding image?
The idea with different fade outs (selected 0% (A), hovered 40% (B), rest 80% (C) or so) is, that the overlap zone between (A) and (B) is different fade at 20% (0+40)/2
and so the overlap zone is visible. I tried this out in Photoshop (see example below), but even with 30/60% the overlap zone is not always clearly visible.
This is not nearly as good as the old yellow borderlines were. And I don't know what others think about this ...
An other idea: Adding a temporary pixel hem (1 or more pixels) around a selected (red) or hovered (blue) picture. But perhaps not good for performance ...

I've opened an issue (1472) to see what can be done here to highlight better differents cases.
