Make an Mpeg4 to display a pano on tv?

Hi there,

Does anyone have any ideas on how to create an Mpeg 4 from a flat pano for tv viewing? No interactivity necessary.
Thanks smile

This is the only tool I have heard of - I have never used it.

http://pano2movie.com/

You'd have to convert your pano to QTVR first, Pano2VR can be used to do that.

Perhaps one could also use a screen capture tool?  Such as this one:

But if this is a prospective project then I think it's easier to shoot the video as video, rather than trying to convert a pano image to video.

You can use AfterEffects for that. I run a layout shoot some days ago (maybe it loads a bit slowly - it´s not optimized for the web):

www.360impressions.de/kranfilm.mov

It´s stitched from a couple of images shot handheld from a crane.

Please have in mind: that is a layout-shot - which means "quick and dirty" and not-elaborated in any way . . cool

best, Klaus
