I'm the happy owner of a new Canon 5D Mark 3.
When I try to mount Raw files, I get a pinkish panorama... but it works well when I import the tiffs.
Here is an exemple:

I strongly suggest to convert RAWs first in a - permanently updated - dedicated RAW converter and only then import them into APP/G.

Yes, That's the solution I use (I have mentionned that tifs import are Ok) but for me it's quite annoying to be impossible to decode Raw directly in APG.
I like the capability to analyze during the night a folder with a lot of picture to make a first look of my panos, and after to make specific derawtisation on the best panos.

I understand - but the 5D3 is rather new and the files might be somewhat "special".
So give APG some time to update it´s converter . .

My post was not a complaint to Kolor team... Just an info because I'm not sure they have already received 5DM3 Raw files.
In the french topic, I've proposed to send them some Raw files.

even Canon own DPP Software has problems with 5DmkIII files. next update of DPP is announced to solve this (for DPP)...

Btw. same issue with CR2 RAW-files from Canon PowerShot S100.
Looks like Canon did some changes in his RAW-format.

Yes surely... but all the other software I use: Lightroom, Photoshop, Nik software have all a version compliant with the RAW files, then I think there are no BIG reasons to not have the same with Autopano...

Of course, I also would prefer that Autopano can read the RAW files. Just want to mention, that there are more people out there, missing that "feature"

We are working on an upgrade for 2.6.3 ( 2.6.4 is the name obviously ).
We added support for many new cameras ( like d800 raw for example ), but not yet 5D mark 3 Raw. That's the only one we need to add. We're still waiting for the job to be finished.

We are testing new decoding algorithms and we also have some little bugs to fix before to release the 2.6.4.
But work is in progress.
