Re: Experiences & potential improvements of Android PanoramaApp

Hello Mike,

I am really happy that you have try PanoramApp.

This is just a test using the Skywatcher API put at disposal "officially" by Skywtacher.

My son have prepared a ".APK" for Android solving some BT issues.

The objectives are:

- to let this application run on the "smallest" Android smartphone. (Anroid 2.2 = the lower target !)
- to built-in the Papywizard Preset utilisation and generate the Kolor presets.
- to built-in some "timelapse" functionalities.

This development will stay "open" like Papywizard ...

BUT this is still "in development"

Here is the link:

Re: Experiences & potential improvements of Android PanoramaApp

did install the panoramaAPP from android marked to my Sony Xperia X10 with android 3.2

I could connect to a BT modul coming from Teleskop Austria
and I could use the left,up,down, right button to move my merlin.

what I discovered: if my mobile changes from portrait to landscape screen modus, the Bluethooth connection is gone I've to reconnect inkl. using password for peering again.
same if screensaver is being enabled or the app is in background.

keep on going!
Georg

UPS - CORRECTION "android 2.3.3" is correct
