Not able to use HDR color correction

I am trying to follow the instructions on http://www.autopano.net/wiki-en/action/ … low_case_E but when I get to the part that says

"Launch the detection, then edit the detected panorama.
Activation of the color correction in HDR mode can be done via the following menu: "

The HDR option is grey and I am unable to select it.

I am shooting in RAW format in manual mode. I have tried adjusting the shutter speed on my own and using the bracketing function of the camera to accomplish this. I get the same results either way, and have not found a way to get the HDR color correction working.

I have however, been able to stack, merge and render my photos into HDR and edit them with photoshop cs5 with some success. I am just wondering if there is something else that I need to be doing to get Autopano to assist me in the process?

Re: Not able to use HDR color correction

When you cannot enabled this menu, it's caused by the fact that EXIF cannot be read in input files. Did you loose the exif during the workflow ( when using an external deraw software ? )

I am using a camera with a digital lens connection, but a lens that doesn't have a digital connection. Nothing that I import has exif information, and I think that is why.

Re: Not able to use HDR color correction

You can add some with ExifTool for example : focal lenght, aperture, iso and speed is needed.

Where is the ExifTool?

Currently, under Settings -> Images -> Exif = Use the following value if no Exif data is found Focal: 8mm, Lens Type: Fisheye

Exiftool is a separate product, independant from Kolor.
Look here :  http://www.sno.phy.queensu.ca/~phil/exiftool/
