Hi - my first post on the forum, and a massive thanks to Claude for supplying the excellent Deltawave dongle !
just building my rig, with the Multifunction mount, the Deltawave BT module, and a Canon 60D. I am hoping to shoot lengthy, outdoor  timelapses with this (but no more than 12-15 hours) , and will probably end up running everything from an external 12V supply, and was wondering if the Nokia tablets actually had an advantage over a regular laptop, running Linux ? It would probably consume less amps.. and be lighter and easier to transport, but is there any other drawback of just using my laptop, as its one less thing to buy ?
