notification on render complete

Hello,

we use Autopano Giga for stitching large Gigapixels (up to 3-5 days of rendering). We render on remote PC outside of our office.
It would be great if Autopano could send out a notification once it has finished stitching/rendering. (Maybe a simple E-Mail Alert would be enough)

Maybe this will be implemented in a future Version?!

bye
Andreas

Please combine with http://www.kolor.com/forum/t13010-batch … -finishser

Email and/or seperate sound, user should be able to select his own method of notification. Maybe a textmessage?

Re: notification on render complete

hey guys,

what about executing a specific command after rendering? so it would be absolutly flexible for the users need

if one wants to execute a shell script after rendering he can do it, if one other wants to automatically upload the done file via FTP he also could do it

in this case it would be very usefull to parse some information to the script (at least the path and filename)

i think this function should take only a few minutes to develop ...

kind regards from austria

Re: notification on render complete

i use notify my android which registers with growl on my mac and it works perfectly. Setup was easy too. I think growl for andoid/iOS works with windows as well.  what would be really nice is for APG to push notification after detection is complete too. Those sometimes take a while.

Thanks
