Newbie help

Hello Everyone

I'm not sure if am posting in the  right forum but here goes!

I am a web designer that is trying to integrate  360  interior views of prod cuts on our website

I'm confused by the amount of software options available and I have no idea how the workflow goes ( from  which program to which program)

I'm not really sure which program I'm supposed to start with.
1) which program do I use to load my pics and assemble them into the 360 pano?
2) which program do I use to build the viewer file?
3)  Do I need a special plug in or download link for our web visitors to use to view these ?

Thank you in advance for your help.

welcome!

ad 1; take your images in manual mode only (focus, exposure, whitebalance etc); use at best RAW images. Postprocess the RAWs with the RAW converter coming with your cam, or any other your're familar with. Convert the RAWs to TIFFS finally. these images are getting loaded into autopano (pro or giga, would suggest the giga... use in general the newest available version, but currently use the latest 2.5 version the 2.6.x beta is faster but has some issues...) As result you will have a panorama of 360x180 dimensions.
ad 2. this resulting image can now be loaded into panotour pro where you can create your virtual tour containing one or many many panos linked together to one tour. exporting the tour gives you one folder of data. copy this folder to your webhost and your tour in online... of course you can (using the pro version) edit the xml files to adopt whatever you like to adopt manually... what manually can be done can be read here: www.krpano.com
ad 3. no in worst case the tour is not seen on endusers webbrowser and the enduser gets automatically an link to download the flash plugin from adobes webpage...
