I read about it in different places. Indeed rather limited for the US and their legal system. Over here a judge would never fall for it.

Well definitively a US problem with its payed judges and lawyers and US trade mark agency completely "stupid" accepting anything as patent ! sorry I'm a little crude but it's just reality in us

This is quite stupid I agree.
One simple question : if they were legit, why didn't they sue the biggest panorama creator in the world : google ( with street view ). That's where a lot of money could be made.
I never heard of that yet ...
For Kolor concerns, we have made what's necessary so that the technologies inside our products are legit, for example with SIFT. We are in fact one of the biggest SIFT licensee in the world.
