Seems the touristic visits are fashioned ![]()
We released today the V1.0 of Larmor Plage virtual tour in 81 views.
Town and the coast with shops/Bar/Restaurant visits all included in a multimedia tour using as much as possible of the APT 1.6 RC3 features.
You have already: Ambiant & directionnal sounds. Info hotspots with pictures and soon video & time lapse. A complete Google/radar navigation map. IPad/Iphone compliancy (full screen/map excepted)
http://www.larmor-jadore.com/flash/larm … -plage.swf
The final project will content more than 130 general views of the town, sea shore, sea landscapes, night tour and related point of interests as the UBoat base, a museum and underwater tours of several wrecks (2012).
In addition around 30 more shops and services will be available soon both in the global tour and in multimedia personalised versions embedded in the site.
To keep this tour attractive we will add more and more Easter Eggs and we hava planned to use the tous as an ehanced reality tool for shops with season games as "treasure quests".
We managed to get a balance between quality and loading speed that let an acceptable resolution in full screen (hope Klaus will find it acceptable
)
Feel free to advice, comment (even with an axe) and debug
- Sorry the site/file is in French only.
Nb: there is maybe a bug with some FF5.0 config... let us know
Kenavo.

http://www.larmor-jadore.com/flash/larm … -plage.swf
)

Unbelievable good. Can you let us know which lens and camera you used. Did you use an automated panohead?

regarding iPad, please add a menu in top rights. The arrows and the google map don't work on iPad

Hi Hans.
I'm still an old-fashion panomaker so : D2X with the Nikkor 10.5 and a Manfrotto 100% manual head.
I Agree regarding the IPAD limitation and a dedicated tour will comesoon and will pop if an Idevice is detected by the site.
I'm busy with +/-40 additional views, timelapse video, underwater pano and more...

personally I feel the nadir logo to big...
... look at the beautysalon ... the logo is to big for this small room.... are your tripod legs so wide opened that this size od nadir logo is needed?
entry pano... if you open the map... should be more zoomed in and the center should be nearer to the active pano...

Hi Georg.
For the Nadir it's both the limits of the tripod and the fact I'm still working with a cylindrical head. For most of the view it works but for small places it's effectivly too much.
I expect to create nadir image this winter. Ninja and motorised head are planned also ^^
The intro and the views from the center are going to be changed in the week and the map will be open/optimised by default (lot of demands from visitors and from forum).
THX for your remaks.

Congrats BZH360,
I have very nice memories from Larmor Plage. Particularly Yves Thuries Chocolaterie, what a wonderful shop. I hope this brings her lots of new business.
Well done.

I just think the design of the page is too full of elements.
the virtual tour lives alone, clean items.
excellent job, congratulations!

Hello I introduce myself, I would like to ask you a question are Galatea,
Did you use different projects connected to each other with Hotpost, or you have created a unique project containing all panos?
Explain to me how did you create an entire neighborhood,
I'd be very interested because I have to do a project for my graduate thesis
thanks
greetings Galatea
