[APG 2.5.2, W7 64] Extended save as "move images" hangs

I am experiencing a very regular hang of the application while moving images in extended save as. It doesn't usually happen the first time I do an extended save as but on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th or so save as. I am moving RAW files to a subfolder. My default folder for panos is %i and default filename is %i_%j-%n images.pano  using relative path. I have created a panos subfolder inside the image folder. I save the files in the %p/%a so an example file path would be:

O:\africa\2011-05-25\panos\IMG_0001-IMG_0007_7 images.pano

the hanging happens after you hit ok on the dialog to move the images. You get the rotating circle and the dialog box doesn't repaint and nothing in autopano responds. I have to kill the app by clicking the close button and windows saying it's not responding would you like to close the program anyway.

I have tried leaving it running for many hours and it never comes back.

It just did it on a panorama of 3 files, though often it does it on larger panoramas. It managed to move one of the three files before hanging.

I often am doing something else in the background so perhaps it's timing out?

Strange. Never faced such situation. Perhaps something running in background and eating some memory => leads to an out-of-memory memory situation during the move tool.

I did as you previously suggested and reduced the memory for rendering quite low, such that there should be at least 12GB of memory free on one machine and 40GB on the other. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help provide more information.

Re: [APG 2.5.2, W7 64] Extended save as "move images" hangs

Update:
It's still happening in 2.6.2 RC 1. It seems to move the first image, then go in "not responding" using one entire cpu core.  Unfortunately when I kill it by hitting close and windows says not responding I'm not getting the "send to microsoft" dialog with details just "close program".
It seems to happen way more when I open panos off disk more than when panos are freshly detected and saved.

It also seems correlated with when remove some images from a pano (via move to a new panorama), and then do the extended save as

seems much better in 2.6.2 but just had it happen once with 2.6.2 (no moving or copying images from the panorama just a straight detected pano from a group. I may have combined groups tho not sure)

Re: [APG 2.5.2, W7 64] Extended save as "move images" hangs

once the application hangs and I have to kill it, I open the pano again, and it prompts me to find the missing images. I use the browse function for the 1-3 images that it managed to move, and specify where they got moved to. When I then go ahead and do extended save as again, it seems like it hangs again. Is it possible that having images in different source folders can cause the program to go in to infinite loop when doing "extended save as" (move)?

We never checked this case. Perhaps : issue 1276 opened.

Also, I think it may happen if you remove images from the panorama, and then do the extended save as
