Longer Exposure Time At Each Stop - Possible?

Hi everyone,

I have just recently bought the Panogear pack with both bluetooth receiver and touch control panel.

So, I can set a waiting time (stabilization time) BEFORE each shot, but is it also possible to set a waiting time AFTER triggering the shot?
I want to create a high-res nighttime panorama and therefore need long exposure times.
I tried this with both Papywizard and TC panel but in both cases the head was moving right during my exposure time and I could not find a setting for a waiting/exposure duration anywhere.
Who can help me out?

Cheers,
André

Re: Longer Exposure Time At Each Stop - Possible?

Did you adjust the Time Value param, so it matches the one set on your camera?

Hi fma38,

I think I might have read something in the manual wrong...
I was now able to use the time value on the TC panel to set the expusure time correctly, thank you.
I assumed this the stabilization time (before the shot) as I remebered reading...

But I still have not found where to set this in Papywizard when shooting via bluetooth.
There I can only enter the stabilization time before the shot, none after. sad
Or did I miss something in Papywizard, too?

Cheers,
André

This param is in the 'Configure...' menu, under 'Plugins' tab, in the 'Shutter' entry.

Honestly: the plug-in structure is uncomfortable and can be very misleading! Why must igo via a plug-in dialog to set the time value for long exosures . . ?
In earlier versions of PW the structure of settings was much clearer, simpler. Going "into the field" and set dozens of boxes before even just start shooting . . . Me i´m going crazy in such moments . . cool

Being able to choose between many, many settings sure is fine - as long as you don´t need to be fast for catching "the good light" before it´s gone.

best, Klaus
