Exclamation mark, why?

Hi
Just getting my head round PanoTour Pro.
When I add panoramas into the central window they have a yellow exclamation mark over them. They are being brought in as jpg, about 6000x3000px.
I can't find anything in the documentation about what the exclamation marks mean. Can someone please let me know what they mean or where in the documentation I should look.
Many thanks.
Mike

Welcome to the forum...

When a stitched pano image is rendered by APP/APG a custom Kolor tag is included in the EXIF which includes the pano FOV values, amongst other things about the pano image.

Panotour/Panotour Pro will read this tag and set the correct values for pano FOV automatically if it finds the tag in the EXIF.

If it doesn't find the tag it will display the yellow excalamation mark to alert the user that he/she may have to set the correct pano FOV values manually.

Editing the image after rendering in APP/APG and before using it as input to Panotour/Panotour pro will often strip out the custom Kolor EXIF tag.

If the pano image is an equirectangular (aspect ratio 2:1) image then the default pano FOV values will be correct. Otherwise the software will estimate the pano FOV values based on the aspect ratio of the image - in which case they will most likely be incorrect; however if the user enters one correct value the software will correctly calculate the other using the aspect ratio of the image.
