[2.5.0 RC] Cylindrical Projection for 360° Pano not working

Hi there!

I hope it isn't my dumbness, but i have the following problem...

Stitching a Pano with 4 Picture and cylindrical projection works fine.
With 6 Picture and a 360° view it seems to use sphereical projection altough the preview window and the render window shows the correct projection.

In my case the render window shows:
6 images
Size: 19501 x 5469
FOV: 360.00 x 73.12
RMS: 2.74
Lens: Standard
Projection: Cylindrical
Color: None

but the output file is 19.502x3.961 px - the resolution of the spherical projection. hmm

Chosing the spehrical projection gets me a render window with:
6 images
Size: 19501 x 3961
FOV: 360.00 x 73.12
RMS: 2.74
Lens: Standard
Projection: Spherical
Color: None

the output file is in fact 19.502x3.961 px but the projection looks like cylindrical - with croped areas, because of the "missing" px.

Sadly i don't have more 360° Panos for testing. Perhaps somebody can help me, if i miss a point or fix it, if it's realy a bug.

APG 2.5 RC1:
File->Settings->Panorama->Preferred Projection: Automatic or set to Sperical?

Hi Georg,

thanks for the hint - the setting was automatic. Changing it to Cylindrical does the trick.

In my case it looks like something is simply switched in the render engine. I choose cylindrical and it uses spherical and vice versa.

THX!
