I've created a couple of templates for my different pano/lens combinations so that I can reuse them over and over again. As I have recently changed pano head and want to now delete some of these old templates but how do you do this? I can't see anything to delete then from within APG or where they may be stored locally.
Guidance kindly and gratefully received ![]()

Here's where I found a template I created with APG 2.5 RC on Windows XP-32.

I note that the 'Save as a template' dialogue offers a 'Restore defaults' button - but this doesn't seem to do what I would expect and remove the user created templates.

Issue 503 opened.
Should really this button delete templates ? I found that a bit dangerous, no ?

That's a good point - perhaps instead that button should have a different functionality (and a different label/name) and open the folder containing the user-created templates. The user could then select and delete - or rename - his/her user-created templates as desired.

Thanks for your advise Andrew. I'll have a look when I get home tonight. I agree with your suggestion of being able to open the templates folder and manually selecting the templates to remove. In my situation I would delete all of them at the moment as they are now no longer valid.

One idea : what about a button browse in this dialog box that opens this folder in the explorer / finder and then, you can do whatever you want ( delete, rename, etc )

I vote for that - it's what I was trying to describe here:
