Flash VR to QT movie? I don't think so.

If you want to produce QTVR .MOV format output from a pano image then use Pano2VR or Pano2QTVR:

If you want video then you may find something relevant here:

Why?

Honestly:
a client recently asked to get a tour which runs like a movie - you start it and it automatically plays the complete tour.
That´s most interresting for presentations on a congress, an exhibition and so.

I´m sure there is a way to do it - and actually i´m going to find a way to make it.

The client wants to show it on a big screen at a trade show.

hmmm. klaus: the most simple solution would be to use screen caputureing the walk through the panos...
and than convert the video to desired format.

e.g. http://camstudio.org/

There's a nice, low cost, program that does this sort of thing for panos created with Pano2VR:
http://ww2.360panotours.com/

I've read that Flashificator - the GUI front-end for Flash Panorama Player - has some means of creating automatic tours.

I believe that Easypano's Tourweaver can create automatic tours too, and I believe it can output to video.

And I'm sure one could hand-code such automatic tours for the krpano Flash Panorama Viewer; in fact, here's an example (not mine):
http://www.vr360photo.eu/panos/piazze360/padova360.html

And if you fancy having a go then you may find some helpful hints here:
http://krpano.com/forum/wbb/index.php?p … #post19643

I'd love similar functionality for/from Panotour.

I, and few others, have mentioned the possibility of automatic 'guided' tours before but there's not been much interest from many users nor from Kolor developers.

http://www.autopano.net/forum/t9697-automatic-tour
http://www.autopano.net/forum/t9490-tou … pixel-pano

..........

Of course none of these solutions is producing video which seems to be what the original post was about, the conversion of a Flash VR to .mov video to post on YouTube.

This is something different altogether. And I can't see the point of it.

If you want video, shoot video - don't shoot, stitch, and render panoramas convert them to Flash virtual tours and THEN try and turn the result into video.

That way madness lies.

Re: capture the flash video to a quicktime movie

I have played with swf toolbox 4. Allows you to read a swf and convert it in to all kind of pano's. Even allows you to cut existing swf panoramas, cut them into jpegs and feed these into autopano again... If you want me to do so, send me the swf

see http://www.eltima.com/products/swf-tools/

Regards, Hans Keesom
You can ftp your pictures to me on hanskeesom.x4all.nl user dump password dump I will try to stitch them for free and you can download the results for free (although my paypal is : hans@hanskeesom.com  ;-)  )
