I am running the Ubuntu 10.10 distribution of GNU/Linux on a 64-bit Intel Core I7-920 CPU with 12 GiB of RAM. Using the tar file, when I run AutopanpGiga.sh I get the usual errors upon startup:

BTW : you will still get some BadMatch error at startup, but that's X <-> Qt integration and it is harmless.
