RE: Hot Spot URL Web Link.
I put Link URL: http:/www.cwu.edu/~mammoth
Work's when I play rendered swf & HTML file from my computer work station, but... when uploaded to my web site I get: "404 Not Found The requested URL /www.wenasmammoth.com/index.htm does not exist".
CLUE:
The pop-up FireFox window is pointing at http://www.highsierraproductions.com/ww … index.htm.
Which is my website plus the target website added on. (Note: The whole link shows in your Create msg box, but when I click on "Submit" and it post it to the form... the address /www.wenasmammoth.com/index.htm gets cut.)
What's going on?
Marv.

Two comments:
1. Which version of APT are you using, and on which OS?
This sounds like it could be a bug that was fixed in the latest version of APT - APT V1.1 beta 11:
http://www.autopano.net/wiki-en/Lastest … .0_beta_11
2. Are you really using the Link URL http:/www.cwu.edu/~mammoth?
The syntax should be http://www.cwu.edu/~mammoth

Beta 11.
PC Win XP Pro.
ULR: http://www.cwu.edu/~mammoth
I copy and pasted the msg's just like they were on the screen. Not sure where you are getting the "?". It's not in the ULR Link box.
Remember... they worked from the SWF and HTML files when I created them.... but not when uploaded to my website.

Marv,
Running APT V1.1 beta 11 on Windows XP Pro (32-bit) I made a simple one pano test tour with a point hotspot linked to your URL - it works fine off-line (local-playback) and on-line too:
http://www.mediavets.com/apt/aptb11-url … -link.html
........
FWIW...
When I specified the Link URL as http:/www.cwu.edu/~mammoth (note - single slash, which is what you reported in an earlier post) as opposed to http://www.cwu.edu/~mammoth (note -double slash, correct syntax) then I found it would work on local playback but not when the tour was put on-line, the I'd get a 404.

Thanks Andrew,
I was just getting ready to send you a screen shot... of the work area. Don't know how I missed the one slash. Thanks.
As promised in a previous post... http://www.highsierraproductions.com/panorama.htm to check out some Beta 11 panos... ("Mammoth Dig" & "Tacoma Convention Center"). While you are there... check out "Katrina/ninth ward"... these were shot pre pano null point days and hand held as I spun around in a circle with very uneven over lap... with the hope that someday technoligy would catch up to me. hehehe. Stiched perfect on the first try in old V2.0.9... blew me away. The B-17 was a challenge and many things went wrong including some hand held panos... learned a lot from that one.
Enjoy
