Re: Website Box with different sizes

Argh, right.
That's because I need to edit the code manually because it will be used in a place where you can't use them through the interface. Will try to find out where and how they're defined.

Website Box with different sizes

I'm using website boxes in a tour to display explaining text. If I remember correctly one can set only one general size for all the boxes. Customer requested now to add an image in one box which would need a much bigger size. Is there a way to manually change the size for one single website box? Tha...

Re: Video intro - hide PTP controls [SOLVED]

The method Gerald gave works just fine, but one has to clear the cache to see the changes.
Also I'm seeing a flicker now when clicking on the menu but that might be due to other changes, will have to check.

Re: Video intro - hide PTP controls [SOLVED]

Destiny, does that mean you created two tours?
I assumed that because of the flicker between the film and the tour.
Couldn't try Geralds suggestion yet but I guess it's always better to stay inside just one tour.

Video intro - hide PTP controls [SOLVED]

For my project we want to run a full size video intro before the tour starts. I wrote a code for native krpano video player to run the video in the beginning and when finished calls the start action of the ptp tour. Wich works fine so far. Only problem is that with the video also the kolormenu and t...

Re: 3D

Works on ipad2.
To be honest, having the object in a player in a window is 80s.
If at all it has to float inside the pano.

Re: wrong behavior of panorama menu offset

I know, been there since long. But these values are the same as those changed through the gui. So both will result in the same wrong behavior. The error must be in their js code. Yes, i still think it is an error because there is no logic behind it. But that's nothing new in PTP, eh? However, I play...

Re: wrong behavior of panorama menu offset

moving just the text seems not an option, or if the editor decides it is acceptable to have the logo on the right in case the bar cannot be moved.
Because how the hell do I get the logo to appear on top of it, when a high zorder doesn't do the trick?!

Re: wrong behavior of panorama menu offset

Ideally need to change the menu bar from the plain white/headline bar to the other with company logo/link and the spacers. As I understand it the PTP menu bar is not able to handle this through the guy so I want to try it manually. I need more space on the left. Set x-offset, one would assume. But w...

No.
Your example shows the control bar.
I'm talking about the panorama menu plugin.

wrong behavior of panorama menu offset

i have a panorama menu placed in the left corner, spanning the entire screen width. i did so because i want the menu text to be left bound. when i enter an x offset of 50 to move the menu bar to the right, the bar will be cut on both left and right ends. when i instead use a centered menu bar, the o...

Re: fading alpha

It's correct that there's no alphachannel but depending on what you want to achieve there might be a solution. But forget about doing it with PTP. Using native krpano you can blend the entire panorama into another or you can use individual masks for blending whatever you want. Also single elements c...

Re: Using sound is awkward

What a pity.
You were on such a good way with PTP 2.0 to become a useful tool to create rich media content.
On top of that I now have to see how to get along with my project and the clumsy editing of PTP code

Re: Using sound is awkward

Krpano handles that perfectly well, I've been doing it manually for years.

The main problem with PTP seems to be the absence of basic functions and a lack of logic for sound handling.
Unfortunately creating useful interactive content needs a bit more than just linking panos.

Using sound is awkward

PTP is giving me the creeps again because the implementation of sound features seems to be incomplete, unlogic and very confusing. But I'll generously forget all about that if you can present a solution for a very basic tour feature that I wasn't able to build for my tour with RC2. In a tour with se...

Re: Question: Compatibility RC1 and RC2 projects

Thanks. I have no problems at all.
But that's because I'm still using RC1
I yet don't trust RC2 and will not test or even install it until it is considered to be safe with existing projects.

Yes, I am.

benji33 wrote:Are you on MacOSX Maverick ? Have you tested hotspot link with website boxes ?
This bug only happens for Destiny at this time and has not been reproduced.

For normally, you're right it's my own error because i've not personnally tested this step on all computer OS.

Re: Question: Compatibility RC1 and RC2 projects

The word "normally" makes me very suspicious here. Also it seems that with RC2 there is an issue in hotspot linking and especially with website boxes which I widely used in my recent project. As it seems it is not safe to update to RC2 which is a real pity (but luckily I didn't). With RCs ...

Re: Regarding Floorplans

Hm, could be a nice workaround, but Zoomify seems to support hotspots only in Flash viewer.
Also I'd rather see Kolor guys wrecking their brains to get it working in PTP instead mine while tinkering with improvisations

Regarding Floorplans

1. Is it possible to create an individual zoomable (tiled) floorplan? I'm asking because for a project I want to use an aerial image instead of the maps plugin because google images are too old. The image itself would be too big to be shown in full size over the tour and scrolling the image is not ...
