Re: 7th Camera shakes, rest of the cameras don't

Stabilization render is broken since autopano video 2.3.
Stitch in 2.3 and render in 2.2. That s the best solution right now.
Best regards.

Re: Stabilizing? Does the opposite...

Go back to Autopano 2.2.2, i have the same issue since 2.3 and no one listen, also you have to render in uncompressed format if you want to do pospro, for smooth playback and no droping frames, beware that you get 200GB files for 1,5min or so at 4k x 4k. My workflow, sync, stitch, stabilze in autopa...

Re: AutopanoGiga Horizon Level [SOLVED]

Bin, i read your post correctly, and i think Martin give you the correct answer. when you correct the horizon in autopano video is for the entire shot, so if you have a shot in a tripod thats the way to go. Maybe you forget to click the "Apply" button just after you correct the horizon in ...

Re: Wobbly seams!

That is because the rolling shutter problem of cmos sensors of cameras, you get a lot of vibration fixing the rig to a chasis /windscreen/ect of the car and that accentuate the rolling shutter effect, you need to put some antivibration device between the rig and the car. Maybe you can try some rolli...

Re: autopano giga does not update the project autopanovideo [SOLVED]

The same thing happends to me, this is my workaround, save the pano and the kava, close giga and video, open the kava again, press edit to open giga, optimize the CP, save the pano go back to video and that will work.
Best regards.

Re: Stabilization not working at render

I went back to 2.3.1 and is rendering fine with MP4 output, not with Cineform AVI. You have serious problem with that Stabilization module, i have to render MP4 at 200mb/s or so to let me do pospro.

Re: Stabilization not working at render

I tried stereo and normal, without the horizon keyframes, also with and without GPU processing with no luck :( , it is the stabilization render module that is not working, but in the preview is working perfect.

Best 3D 360 rig far now

Hello, after trying 360heros rig, izugar Z6X3D, and Ninja 600, i think Ninja 600 is the best to go 3D 360 right now in this kinds of rigs. 220º fov with really high quality lenses with custom firmware of hero 4 black to remove pink vigneting, allowing to shot in 4k 16:9, very bright lenses at Fstop ...

Peau 1.21mm f/2.0 220d HFOV Lens Profiles

Hello, i get last friday 6 Gopro with Peau 220 Fov lenses and Ninja 600 rig, i get much better final definition at same resolution (3840x2160) than izugar Z6X3D-C, because the 220 fov lenses let mi record at 4K 16:9 instead of 2,7K 4:3 of izugar ones, but they only provide some templates and no lens...

Re: Clear Blue Sky = Stitching Issues [SOLVED]

The best is to make a template for your rig shooting in some place that have enough detail fitures all arround to get a decent RMS and then use that .pano as template for others shoots without too much detail as your blue sky or night shooting.

I render some HEVC/H265 stereoscopic 360º videos at 4096x4096, for decode i use lav filter codecs and get smooth playback on a gtx980 which has partial hardware decoding for h265, but on a gtx970 i get choppy playback and is suppose to be on the same range for video decoding, is there other codec th...

Re: audio recording 360 video

As a developer i made 360º players for oculus, osvr and gearvr, is not that hard, and with the approach i said you get the real sound from where you record the 360º video not a simulated room. If you dont have a good recording hardware like Zoom you can use the audio from all the cameras you stitched.

Record with Zoom H4n, 4 discreet tracks, develop a player in unity with an audio source for each of that 4 tracks at they respective position, thats it.

Re: How to sync manually

Find something that you see happends at the same time in all cameras (movement up or down, some light turning on/off, some people crossing all cameras, etc), go frame by frame till you find that something, i suggest using after effects or premier or something similar, write the time in ms for that f...

Re: Workflow with multiple continuous 360 files?

Dont use Premiere just join the files with ffmpeg without reencoding so you keep the best quality.

Re: Partial panoramic video (say 90 to 120 degrees)

For that you can manually setup your cameras/lens in autopano giga. I do that for stereo 180º coverage and get the rest of the 360º black.

Re: Cannot Get AVP To Stitch Complete Sphere

That scene have too much black areas, with your rig go outside, shoot a scene that is all in sunlight and far from your camera, no near objects, and with no black areas, stitch, and then use that pano file has a templete for your inside shoot with black areas.

Re: Support?

Well, i allways use autopano video for 360, you can use it for just a part of that 360 but you will need to zoom/crop in postwork, just render that video 8k or something like that and zoom/crop it in after effects directly or with mettle if you dont want the equirectangular distortion.

Re: Workflow: Stitch First or Edit First

Did you try sync in premiere and then stitch? sometimes the footage are out of sync by 1/2 frame that you only can chosse with frame is best watching the seems in autopano. If they implement the method you said of course that whould be the most logical workflow, anyway each shoot is a diferent world...

Re: Workflow: Stitch First or Edit First

Best workflow IMHO, shoot normal 2D the same you shoot in 360, edit that 2D until the customer are satisfied, then stitch only those shoots in 360. Perfect sync in premiere i dont think so, you have too much of trial and error in autopano for sync and need to see the seams. And sitching an already e...
