Re: APG crashes when rendering out .jpgs

Hi Oliver
Only with the new version and yes, with all projects. No updates at all on the machine itself.

APG crashes when rendering out .jpgs

Hi I have some issues with the latest APG version, as it suddenly freezes/crashes when I render out anything? I always render out a jpg in order to recheck my horizon in AVP. Normally it works fine, but now it starts rendering and then just freezes, so I need to force quit the program. I checked and...

Re: Black Magic + Canon 8-15mm stitching errors

Hi Oliver The background is 100% static so there is no sync issue, and the camera is fixed on a nodal ninja mount. There is no lack of details, but it throws off the FOV etc as there is no stitching template for Black Magic cameras. If you pls could provide me with an email in a private message, I c...

Black Magic + Canon 8-15mm stitching errors

Hi I do have some strange issues with AVP and APG when I am stitching black magic footage. I have shot in 4k raw and had a canon 8-15mm lens on with 8mm wide open. We did a test shot in two different locations and it worked flawlessly. Now that we have done the actual shot, we get massive stitching ...

Re: APG 4.4 not sending info to AVP

I have investigated further, as APG was not starting at all anymore. It was shown as a background task in the task manager (windows 10 prof 64bit) but did not want to start. When I end the process and start APG again, it comes up as a trial version again, even though I have registered it before.

APG 4.4 not sending info to AVP

Hi I have just updated both AVP and APG yesterday and it worked all fine. But today APG is not communicating anymore. I open an AVP project, hit 'edit' and it opens APG just fine. But when I then make changes and press 'save' in order to update AVP, nothing happens, and AVP suddenly comes up with a ...

It was with both 2.6 and 2.6.1
and yes, as far as I am aware of, only with the repaired footage, as my gopros only do mp4 h264 normally

Re: Oculus Error on GoPro VR Player

Hi I am using the latest drivers etc. I have now plugged the rift into a different pc which has only one nvidia 1080 in there and it works like a charm. In the pc which came up with the error message, I have two graphics cards, the top slot has the quadro card, and the bottom one a 1080. Even though...

AVP input videos 2 frames slower than main preview

Hi
I noticed that there is a 2 frame delay between the input videos and the main stitched preview. This is odd as I sometimes for syncing as the small individual input video tiles do not match up with the big preview screen.
How can this be fixed?

Cheers
Michael

Re: Oculus Error on GoPro VR Player

Hi
I have similar problems. Gopro VR player on its own works fine, same as the Rift on its own. I basically do not get any head tracking etc. The Gopro VR player has the blue symbol on to indicate that it detects the rift itself, but thats it.

Input format error

Hi I am having issues with input formats in AVP. I normally use mpg streamclip to merge the gopro files. I then discovered that one of my gopros was dropping frames, so I timestretched it so that it is in sync again with the other streamclip files. I then exported this via Davinci Resolve (cineform ...

Re: No full little planet effect?

Hi Martin
Thank you for the quick reply (any chance all my other threads can be answered as well? :) )
Good to know that this is the issue. I sadly cannot just rely on kolor eyes as my client wants to put it up on his facebook page and youtube channel. :(

AVP does not take stitching lines from Giga?

Hi everybody I am currently masking some footage as the person is moving. It worked well so far, until I came to this spot in the screenshot (and sorry to blurr the rest, as I am not allowed to show the main footage). As you can see in the screenshots with the clear stitchline, the guys face should ...

Re: No full little planet effect?

Hi Martin Yes I am planning to have first a little planet effect which then fades into the normal video. You can see my first test run here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HnmCyntCHVQ However, as you see in the video, it is not fully little planet. I tried to zoom out as much as possible in Autopan...

Re: No full little planet effect?

I would love to have some help with this. I know that it would be best to be 1:1 projection but as the rest of the video will be 2:1 I cannot change it to 1:1. Any way to work around this?

Re: Ram overload?

Hi Michael, What's your output size? Type? Make sure that your render height is a multiple of 2. Cheers, Martin Hi Martin I just used the standard 4K preset and only changed the fps to 30 from 25 on the preset. So the pixels stayed untouched, "keep in pixel size" And funny enough, if I re...

Ram overload?

Hi
I just used a new computer with syconized Geforce Titans and it should be the same setup like the other mashine next to it.
However when I now want to render, it just crashes due to ram overload? And there is 62gb of Ram, so it should be more than plenty!
Any ideas of what this can cause?

Izugar lens radius off?

Hi I am currently working with some mark 19 izugar lens rigs (both 3 cam mono and 6 cam stereo) and sometimes their radius is WAY off? Weird blurry patch issue in panos with masking

Hi I am stitching some footage where I manually create a nadir patch (I flip the panorama on the side, render 300dpi photoshop file, cut out the tripod and fix it with clone stamp and export it as a png and tiff to overlay, and then flip the panorama back) However, I noticed that there was some weir...
