Re: Nadir Patch Problem - Image is Blending [SOLVED]

You may get a little more clearance if you mount the camera with the hand grip uppermost - see screenshot below, this is a Nikon D40 on an NN4 - and the addition of a nadir adapter (which is not expensive) might make all the difference. If you chose that 10-18mm wide angle lens especially for shoot...

Re: Nadir Patch Problem - Image is Blending [SOLVED]

Do you have a second camera so you could post a photo of the camera/lens at this pitch on the NN3? Sure, he are two pictures. One at -60, and then the other at the "almost" +60. You're right that would definitely help, and I'll consider it heavily. (have to deal with purchasing through my...

Re: Nadir Patch Problem - Image is Blending [SOLVED]

Okay so in following the recommended... is it shooting in portrait or landscape? I'm assuming portrait, as that is the default configuration with the Ninja without getting an adapter. Knowing that, I can easily get the -60 degree pitch shots around, but If I try to pitch up to +60 my camera body com...

Re: Nadir Patch Problem - Image is Blending [SOLVED]

I'm using a Canon Rebel T3i, with a Canon 10-18mm EF-S, shooting at 10mm. I don't know what shooting pattern you are using but these are some suggested patterns when shooting with a 10mm standard lens on a Canon crop sensor body from an online database: http://www.vrwave.com/panoramic-lens-database...

Re: Nadir Patch Problem - Image is Blending [SOLVED]

I don't see the border of your image in APG, but have you activated the quick preview? (Bottom left of the image its a teeny green button) What version if PTP do you have installed? http://www.kolor.com/wiki-en/action/view/Panotour_-_Tour_-_Picture/panorama_properties Mediavets I think has solved t...

Re: Nadir Patch Problem - Image is Blending [SOLVED]

Two comments: 1. You are probably better advised to patch the nadir by creating a nadir cube face and editing the patch with an image editor rather than attempting to incorporate the nadir image in the stitch. 2. The Nadir patch feature in PTP merely placed an image on top at the nadir it doesn't a...

Re: Nadir Patch Problem - Image is Blending [SOLVED]

Here is the layer panel with the patch in view, (I realize it's big, but I haven't resized it yet, since I'm still trying to fix the blending issue!)

Also, originally had tried within PTP, and I don't have a Nadir option in my tour properties...

Re: Two Different Tour's based on Mobile vs. Desktop? [SOLVED]

I see what you are saying now, as I just rebuilt today and it indeed overwrote it. Oh well, I could either do what you're suggestion or just make a copy of my file (which is a pain but not a big deal). Mediavets, all I did was create a copy of the project with the UI set up smaller for desktop, did ...

Nadir Patch Problem - Image is Blending [SOLVED]

I've followed the tutorial, and created a new layer called "Patch" but it continues to still blend in with the image. I tried seeing if I could just patch the nadir in Panotour Pro, but I didn't see any options there. Am I doing something wrong? Again, did the tutorial exactly how it says ...

Re: Two Different Tour's based on Mobile vs. Desktop? [SOLVED]

I did what was in the other thread and created another version of the UI, and copied the other XML.

Worked PERFECTLY!!!

Re: Two Different Tour's based on Mobile vs. Desktop? [SOLVED]

Given that none of the plugins in the current version of PT/PTP are responsive, it would be more straightforward to make two versions of the tour - one with a UI suited to desktops and the other with a UI suited to mobiles. And then have the user choose which he/she wished to view or use a script o...

Re: Two Different Tour's based on Mobile vs. Desktop? [SOLVED]

Well following what was mentioned in the other topic, you could easily duplicate the plugins you want to have them only on mobile to create an entire mobile interface. Conditional plugins or fully responsive plugins aren't supported in Panotour just yet. So if I duplicate the plugins, how do I call...

Two Different Tour's based on Mobile vs. Desktop? [SOLVED]

I saw the post on a different menu based on whether you are on mobile or a desktop/tablet... but wondered if I could do that to an entire project? The reason I ask is because I am using buttons and headers/footers that look "ok" on mobile, but they are seemingly quite large looking on a de...

Re: Autopano detection result is a big blurry blob? [SOLVED]

I see what you are saying now, and my ignorance was the issue. It was indeed set to "fisheye" where my lens is indeed as you are saying not a true fisheye. Changed the setting, and it turned out just fine... you are AWESOME!!! Also, thanks for the picture amounts and degrees information, t...

Re: Autopano detection result is a big blurry blob? [SOLVED]

I'll have to double check, but I'm pretty sure it had already defaulted to fisheye in there from the detected camera info.

Autopano detection result is a big blurry blob? [SOLVED]

Has anyone had this issue? I've attached a picture of the result, plus the settings from the camera. Edit: I'm using a Canon Rebel T3i, and the lens is a 10mm-18mm 4.5-5.6... am I perhaps taking too many photos? I'm currently only doing testing, as I've ordered my nodal head and it hasn't arrived ye...

Templates (or something) for creating nice UI for a tour?

I want to start working on custom UI for a tour, and wondered if anyone knew of any resources that had templates of some kind (or information on which percentages everything should be), so that the tour looks good on all platforms? As far as custom UI, I'm speaking in terms of Logos, and custom head...

You were correct on file permissions, thank you so much.

I just did a test host inside my public Dropbox folder, and everything loaded as it should!

Re: Video Hotspot not showing online [SOLVED]

No and yes to the first two questions, and file permissions, not sure. Is testing it via drop box maybe a good idea? edit: ... and thanks for my welcome! Glad to be here. Stumbled upon the Kolor software when researching what to use for my company as we wanted to put together a virtual tour. This so...

Video Hotspot not showing online [SOLVED]

I included a screenshot. Basically, I have added a video hotspot to my tour, and it plays in offline mode (when hitting the green test button), but when I save the project files and put them on my company's webserver for external files, the video does not load, and shows the following error (in the ...
