Re: AVP/APG UI and usability gripes

I now understand what is that makes the menus not reliable: menus have an animation (some frames of blinking) where mouse movements are still registered. So the problem is that if I move the mouse after clicking (which is often the case when I have to assign cameras to stereo channels - also, this s...

Re: recommended workflow for timelapse stitching

assemble all the timelapses camera by camera with an appropriate program such as TimeLapse Assembler and then just stitch it as a normal pano video; there's nothing unusual in making panorama timelapses

Re: AVP/APG UI and usability gripes

Hello Time for round 2, everything that I didn’t remember on the first run ( : ⋅  • AVP, Again on batch: not being able to select multiple files when choosing what to add to the queue kinda defeats the whole batch concept, since I have to manually open maybe 40 files per shooting session. ...

External video card compatibility

Hello everybody We are considering upgrading the performances of our main Mac with an external video card with a device such as one of these https://bizon-tech.com Do you think such a device would be recognized and used by AVP? Has anybody used an eGPU with AVP at all? (: Maybe some Kolor staff coul...

AVP/APG UI and usability gripes & bugs

Hello, it's time for me to list a lot of major UI problems in AVP and APG. Please understand that I’ve been working every day 6+ hours on your software for the past year and a half (OSX) so even a tiny little problem can become a ridiculous pain in the ass because of the sheer amount of times I wil...

Re: Can Autopano Pro make a VR Still

Hello, I was wondering if Autopano Pro could be used to make a VR still image? Thanks in advance. B VR Still image? Meaning? a 360 3D panorama? If so, yes and no. you can do it but it won't output a SBS or TB file straight from the box; you can always output the two layers (left/right eye) and then...

Re: Using Autopano Video to stitch Night Lapse Shots?

Hi,
we've stitched time lapse 360 videos without any problem.
I don't know about night lapse.
I think it would be better for you if you avoided the time lapse mode and built the time-lapse from the individual pictures, since they should have better quality.

Re: Black hole after stitching with Explorer-like rig

how far was it from the ground?
This might have happened because the tripod was too low and as such the ground is nearer than the rig expects it to be.

Re: manually synchroniase clips doe snot work

You can use FCPX's Multi Cam feature to synch the clips and then note down the frame difference values to use them in AVP
I've done that countless times; I've even used subtle motion in the clips to get a motion synch this way.
and yes, it's a pain in the ass.

Why do I have to manually reopen after plugging a Oculus in?

I'll be frank: I find the fact that having to manually reload the application when it starts and detects an oculus (or it doesn't find it anymore) completely moronic (I'm talking about OS X here) Who thought it was a good idea to make the user reboot the application manually? It's two lines of code,...

Re: Manual picture position / Key

+200000, it's totally insane not having hotkeys!
Also, it would be great to have a hotkey to directly manage offset with the arrow keys. Working with custom rig&lenses manual fixing happens way more than one imagines q:

Same settings, same lens, different image [SOLVED]

Hi there, attached are the jpgs from two cameras with the same lens; as you can see the image is pretty much the same, only with different parallax due being part of a stereo rig. Problem is, when using same identical settings (Fov, K1,K2,K3, circular crop), the two images have ridiculously differen...

Re: Rendering broken?

Hi there,
it's a bit hard to share stuff this big.
input files are standard GoPro MP4 files, by the way.
Last week it happened again, 5 projects in the queue all rendered only the first 3 seconds or so looped for the entire duration of the video.
I simply can't use my laptop for rendering q:

Re: adaptive stitching made easier - more blending options

right of now I find the whole having to switch between two programs to do one movie quite ridiculous; on a typical day I have something like 4 or 5 APG and APV windows floating around, even finding stuff around is difficult, let alone using it properly Most of the time I find myself re-clicking the ...

Re: Render Queue Request

also, rename the render output settings.
This is crucial because it would allow to quickly change things that do not need an advanced GUI directly, so not to have to open a bajillion project just to switch to a different output format for example.
