Re: Adobe Premiere export setting

Now that I think of it, I remember that a colleague of mine had the same problems with exporting 4k in premiere. It's all in the fact that it doesn't support 4k h264 for higher than 2000x2000 resolutions if I recall correctly. Try to switch to mpeg-4 and see if that works. It's 1:22 am here so pleas...

Re: How can you make videos sharper?

there's a hard limit over which autopano crashes. iirc I use 55000bps.
doesn't change that much tho ( :

Re: Problem in matching image in a geometrical place

The files clearly show different blending methods; I put them in fcpx and saw the differences frame by frame. I really think your blending options are working pretty fine They also show that you are very good with that steadycam since it didn't have to stabilize q: And also the wheelbarrow makes me ...

Re: stitching serveral video sequences together?

Hi! Nope, no can do opening multiple files (it's already hell on Earth having one open to me, I wouldn't know how any computer/disk would handle two or more!) I'm not particularly fond of premiere, but I can assure you that you can make editing on AVP files with any modern NLE It seems to me that yo...

Re: How to make the video static/non 360 for youtube?

I don't think there's a way to tell youtube to crop a video for the iPhone, I'll look into their documentation again later

Re: How can you make videos sharper?

I just use a preset with higher bitrate; everything else shouldn't matter afaik, the pre loaded settings are just names for resolutions & bitrates, they add nothing else

Re: Problem in matching image in a geometrical place

could you do a quick check for me?
set the blending in ISO mode; select a 3 second range where you walked shaking the camera at least a bit (with the blue bar) and stabilize that range. Render it. Then change back to smart and render again.
Upload somewhere and we'll see the differences ( :

Re: Problem in matching image in a geometrical place

Hi Diego the stitch seems good; what's wrong? A place like this has a lot of detail that autopano can pick control points on it also is a really confined space so it's normal to have problems in stitching such a hell ( : You should always refer to what is the most important thing in the scene and gi...

why can't you use crop to select the part you want and upload only that?

Re: REMOVE THE TRIPOD (AUTOPANO VIDEO)

Hi there there a couple of options, both of them are suboptimal, to say the least. Usually when we want to remove the tripod we use a static patch. If we are lucky, it makes sense the patch is static: a helmet, or a car/motorbike chassis. You make a good picture of the object under the rig and patch...

Re: Adjust viewpoint height?

as far as I know, there is no way you can achieve this keep in mind that it's the perspective that makes things at "eye level", not your actual position inside the 360 sphere. you can see this in VR if you enable head tracking; axial movements feel like a cheat, you only feel like the worl...

Re: How to make the video static/non 360 for youtube?

This is a weird case scenario lol
You'd have to strip the 360 metadata... Is quality a big issue? If you recompress it with compressor it will strip it for sure

Re: How can you make videos sharper?

do your best to understand what it takes to get a proper stitching in various situations, so that when time comes that you don't have time to experiment and you need to bring results home you're already good to go (:

Re: HELP - APV with 360 Freedom fail [SOLVED]

Just try to have everything at least 2-3 meters away with that rig
I shoot with the 10 gopro rig that allows for objects to be even at 1 meter, more or less
I've shot car interiors with that!

Re: Command Line Interface?

Annis,
+1 for command line interface; at least give us the option to load into the batch renderer files without having to load them every time.
It takes me over half an hour to load maybe 17 jobs into the batch renderer and it is completely unnecessary!! (:

Re: How can you make videos sharper?

Michael,
I'd say this was shot in low light conditions. Can you do another test in better light conditions?
Always use protune and ISO lock at 400 ISO; GoPros are garbage when going at and over 1600 imho

Re: Gaps in stitch!

I see the gap, but I also see that the images are not aligned properly and the gap is caused in part by that 960p if I recall properly is 4:3 ratio so you shouldn't have problems in coverage; there is quite some overlap in a 6 camera rig so you shouldn't be this worried: you sure all cam were in 4:3...

Re: Gaps in stitch!

just to make myself clear; you can see that you can line up the ceiling better by moving the rightmost image a bit to the left and rotating it just a little so the furthest lines will line up (so many lines in this sentence!) you're going to have a bit of a glitch in the Matrix there in the middle b...

Re: HELP - APV with 360 Freedom fail [SOLVED]

Hi psatter, looks like you're shooting in a small room; that can be tricky for the auto stitching to get right. Try to see what happens if you do it in an outside environment where everything is more distant from your camera. Remember that 6 camera rigs have serious limitations regarding minimum dis...

Food for thought

Hi there I'm working day and nights on AVP/APG for my company producing 360 video for a host of clients. I have a couple of things in the wishlist for you ᗡ: 1. First off, batch-ability. Stitching, editing and everything already takes a humongous amount of time; stuff that is tediously repetitive sh...

Re: Adding Music with Premiere [SOLVED]

hi onespoon
you have to re add the 360 metadata using the tool that Google provides
https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/6178631?hl=en

be sure to export in mpeg 4, h264 won't cut it at the moment (:
