Re: Livepano layer mask visible in chrome

Well referring to @ungeherr's examples there is a remarkable difference and I have to say that I agree with his perception (of Kolor) and logic regarding this issue. Chrome does have the market share but that's besides the point as LivePano should work with All browsers (as it did before). That bein...

Re: Livepano layer mask visible in chrome

@benji33 Well as for the "processed" vs. "unprocessed" I don't see any substantial difference BUT I do see a perceptible difference between Chrome vs. Safari. It looks as if Safari is rendering it "smoother" when processed meaning I see less of an acute difference betwe...

Re: Livepano layer mask visible in chrome

@ungeherr Although I completely understand what you are saying but I can't believe that the screenshot will have an impact on the video exposure/color? Like you said, I thought it was only for positioning. I've never seen or heard anything which indicates a link between the screenshot and video rela...

Re: Livepano layer mask visible in chrome

@ungeherr I see the very slight differences but it's difficult since you hid the masking very well (by placement). There is still a visible outline though so while it's "better" it's still not "salable" to a client. =(

@3N Planet that's a great tour! Do you know if that was created with PTP or P2VR?

Re: Livepano layer mask visible in chrome

With the launch of GoPro Fusion (sadly) I doubt this will be addressed anytime soon. While the software for fusion looks promising I'm sure they will have plenty of bugs to work out.

Re: Barber Poll? [SOLVED]

Apologies. You know you're working to long on a project when you mistake a custom spot for a plugin. The barber poll is not a plugin, just a custom spot I created. Sorry 'bout that. Somebody can delete this post or move it to the "stupid questions" folder. :/

Polygon Hotspot for url link? [SOLVED]

I'm desperately trying to find a way to get a transparent hotspot (preferably a Polygon hotspot) which when clicked will open a website. With the Polygon spot, the only option I have is selecting a Pano? Is this right? How can I make a transparent "clickable" link which will allow me to op...

Re: Hotspot for Audio

Hmm, I tried to add a hotspot but didn't see the option to choose audio. I only saw audio option with a simple button. I must be missing something. I'll take a look again tomorrow.

Thanks Destiny.

Hotspot for Audio

I'm trying to create a hotspot trigger (button) for audio. I don't want/can't use a regular "button" because that won't allow me to place it anywhere in the scene I need. I need to be able to place a button specifically on an object. Is there way to "add point" in the hotspot edi...

Re: Panotour Future

I'd add (once again) that Kolor should integrate the Google Street View API for the obvious reasons. If I could afford it I would go with Garden Gnome who is constantly updating P2VR (maybe Kolor will refund my $900 for PTP, AGP & Live Pano (which is horrible now)). PTP is a great app but it's &...

Re: How about Google API integration?

I've already suggested this when Google announced the "retirement" of the DTE. Kolor has no intention of integrating the (Free) API. If you are looking for that functionality I suggest Garden Gnome software which jumped on the API as soon as it was released (thus pleasing their customer ba...

Re: Do I need motorized pan head with wide angle dslr camera [SOLVED]

Get yourself an inexpensive "Rokinon" 8mm lens. The quality is sufficient. When you make a profit (minus the cost of the lens) you can considering upgrading to the Sigma 8mm.

Can't have more than one slideshow in tour! [SOLVED]

I'm developing a 13 pano tour. Two (separate) panos have slideshows. One is working the other will not. No matter what pano I place a slideshow hotspot in I can only launch one slideshow and no others.

Re: Livepano layer mask visible in chrome

Well, it's openly been admitted that GoPro has been dictating the Kolor team exclusively concentrate on the 360 video. I actually feel "bad" for the Kolor team (not the rich founders who made out nicely in the acquisition). Kolor (had) a great software selection and a dedicated team. Unfor...

Re: Livepano layer mask visible in chrome

Well, I can check the video out in Premiere Pro, Avid, Sony Vegas and Resolve but cannot download unfamiliar software due to security issues. It sounds like you're on the right track though. Now if you can get Kolor to respond... No matter what, for any other purpose(s) than personal, having this is...

Re: Livepano layer mask visible in chrome

Salut Annis. It sounds like you're saying that the browsers have changed "something" which has made the video/mask so much more visible? This wasn't an issue at all in previous versions?

Re: Dark mask around video

I'm not understanding the question either? I personally use manual settings for video to match the stills. Same color space... So manual still exposure & manual video exposure.

Re: Dark mask around video

Looks much better! Makes sense about the color space. I'm not sure that's going to be a viable fix though. Can you read the metadata output from HitFilm? Maybe you could post it if you can extract it so we can take a look? In reality we shouldn't have to take these extra steps to get this working (s...

Re: Livepano layer mask visible in chrome

The browsers aren't the issue. I've developed several live panos without this issue but after the last (or second to last) version of PTP it changed. Now I (and others) get the same result. The "unfeathered", unblended video "box". Color correcting won't help no matter how precis...

Re: Dark mask around video

Better ask for that refund because we've been waiting for a fix for a while. Seems like now that Kolor is under the big thumb of GoPro they were directed to allocate all their resources to 360 video. They will say different but it sure feels like the "still" shooters have been abandoned. I...
