Re: Google API integration?

In no way would/should moderation be a third party developers responsibility. That resides solely on Googles end because Google is the "end user" and reaps all the multi million dollar data/advertising benefits. The fact that they bailed on business with such potential is beyond me. They m...

Re: Google API integration?

With only 30 days until Google decommissions the DTE (unless integration of the API is a simple task) I don't think anything will be ready before then. If you have clients in the pipeline I would be sure to "cover your bases" by acquiring the functional but limited free alternatives such a...

Re: Google API integration?

I think that's a great suggestion: "Alpha Testing". They should recruit all current owners of PTP who are TIPs. Sign me up too.

Re: Google API integration?

Mark, Ultimately Panotour Pro would be [our] first choice of delivery but to cover ourselves for the eminent demise of the Desktop Editor next month we have registered with "Panoskin" who is offering a "free" desktop solution. This should satisfy your needs until Kolor confirms t...

Re: Google API integration?

@AlexandreJ Thanks for that response. I (and along with others) are hoping that Kolor will incorporate the API which will allow us to publish and even allow advanced features found in PanoTour Pro (hotspots). I can't think of a better company to incorporate this into their product. How will Kolor be...

Google API integration?

Google recently announced that in March they will be "discontinuing" their Street View Editor which facilitates direct upload of 360°panos to Google Servers for automatic inclusion on Maps, Search and G+. It has been conveyed to us (Google Certified Photographers :/) that companies such as...

Re: Nadir Patch not working consistently

So bizarre. Now that I think about it, the black hole was not the nadir because I patched it (I just forgot). So, I just opened the tour again, selected the pano, set the vertical and offset to 0° (which I had done before see previous screen shots) selected the nadir patch file and it's now working?...

Re: Nadir Patch not working consistently

All images were produced at the same time, same camera, "same settings" (aperture), same output from APG and added all at the same time into PTP. I did "replace panos" a for a couple of "originals" but not this particular pano. It was not made from cubes. The black hole...

Re: Nadir Patch not working consistently

Hi Annis,

Unfortunately the nadir does NOT show in the built tour (see screen shots). The problems is that sometimes it works and sometimes it does not (even in low res preview it works sometimes).

Nadir Patch not working consistently

All things being equal I am not experiencing consistent results with the nadir patch in PTP. When I select a file sometimes it shows up sometimes it does not. First example everything is selected correctly: Projection, view, angle with a patch file clearly selected but it does not show: Nadir not sh...

Re: Atome Head and Fisheye Stitching Issue

Time to check out PTIGUI (reluctantly). I agree with Kolor fixing this issue ASAP. It's always existed in all the versions I have used.

Re: Blown out Windows

Ok gotcha. The exposures were not consecutive as pointed out. I was under the impression that I could just add additional brackets (even with a "gap") for one set and AGP would allow me to "mask" out the areas. My bad. I will expose the way you indicated next time I shoot. At lea...

Re: Blown out Windows

Hi Martin, Even with the Fusion as you described I still have no luck in bringing back the windows with properly exposed images in a stack of 6. Wndow 1 Fusion NO GO.JPG Here's a link to the files> https://goo.gl/yYFmCN Maybe somebody can show me that this actually can be achieved in AGP without pho...

Re: Blown out Windows

It doesn't look like you used the Fusion Tool on these. This is what controls the exposure of different parts of the bracketed image set not the masking tool OK I checked off Fusion in the blend settings and gave it a try but nothing significant happened. It doesn't look any different (actually wor...

Re: Blown out Windows

Hi Olivier, I have shot an indoor room with a very large "picture window" in the middle of a wall which is the only "natural light" source and is out of the tonal/contrast range of the room as a whole. The outdoor view is very important to the client as it is a major selling poin...

Re: Atome Head and Fisheye Stitching Issue

That's strange because I had the same settings as you both. Now I'm curious as to what settings oliverbo has that we don't. Make sure you post a "solution" when you find it. I want to make sure I write that down ;)

Re: Atome Head and Fisheye Stitching Issue

Yup, I'm having the same issues with the tile floor. It looks like there was just a slight shift between spins but that's actually an APG bug. I stitched this together using only 4 images and it improved it almost 100% save for a few spots. Please file a case with Kolor and send them the files becau...

Re: Atome Head and Fisheye Stitching Issue

You know what? After I posted the same thing happened to me (on a different pano) with the same type of ceiling. It's not too bad. Have you tried masking? That usually makes it a little bit better.

Blown out Windows

How can I mask out windows to favor perfect exposure of a bracketed images? I've never had the need for it but now I do and can't seem to figure it out with the masking tools? I'm trying to select images in the layer panel and use the mask tool with no luck?

Thanks,

Re: Atome Head and Fisheye Stitching Issue

It isn't your setup (lens, head, level...) It's a "bug". I am a GTP and have experienced this issue many times with older versions of APG. I've used several pano heads and lenses with the same issue. In fact as I write this I have a similar ceiling up on my screen but it's stitching fine. ...
