Re: Multi State Hotspot

I second that. And I wish these were done by a designer who knows what she/he is doing.
Most of PTP current designs are good enough for comic books, not for serious work.

And no, I don't think it's compulsory to add these for free.

Re: PTP2B4 crashed

That's wishful thinking :)
As PTP is a solitary platform to create virtual tours, no matter where the input comes from, it is advised to support the user by using common standards and not proprietary terms that are derived from errors previously made in other places. ;)

Re: Individual thumbnails

Very good, and thank you.
But for me it's too late, I did it already yesterday.
Please go on with your homework ;-)

Re: PTP2B4 crashed

I didn't even know that such an option exists.
Even if so, how should one know what it is good for?
I suggest "Export" or "Transfer" would be a more intuitive term here, if it is intended to do what I wanted to do.

Re: Individual thumbnails

Ok, I'll try a complete new built. But if it doesn't work I'll invoice you the time it takes :D edit: Getting even more weird, I haven't built a new version yet, but now I see that one (=1) thumbnail of the 5 new ones I added is used in the menu. So I assume their IS a bug somewhere. edit: Seems to ...

Re: Panorama Menu has inconsistent tranparency

I am aware of the spacing but that makes it ugly ^3 :p
To solve the issue and satisfy both camps there should be an option to treat bg and main menu independently with individual values. THAT would make it intentional ;-)

Re: Panorama Menu has inconsistent tranparency

Doesn't make sense to me because as soon as there is more than one menu item there is no button effect. The button effect is created by choosing a "darker" or "lighter" color on over. Also, if one wants to extend the bar across the entire size of the frame there is a reason. And ...

Re: Individual thumbnails

Ok, I can pick an individual thumbnail here but it isn't displayed in the place where I need it, which ist the Panorama Menu. The Menu uses just small equi images. And to be precise, the changed thumbnails don't shop up at any place at all. Even when I place a thumbnail bar, there's also only just t...

Individual thumbnails

Did you already discuss custom made thumbnails in the pano menu? Is there an elegant way to achieve this? I have no problem exchanging the thumbs PTP generates, but any time on tour creation the files are overwritten again. That makes it a bit clumsy with a tour of 30+ nodes. Any idea what could be ...

Re: Multires in large tour only for individual panoramas

Of course I do.
But even if it would work as consistent as it should there are good reasons to generate less files and less project sizes.

You mean you don't see that there's a difference between the part of the bar where the text is and the rest of the bar?

Fontsize in Panomenu doesn't change

I can alter Font Type and Font Style but not the size. It's stays always 10 when I change the setting.
It's also set back to 10 when I return to the Font menu.

Panorama Menu has inconsistent tranparency

I'm using a panorama menu at the top of my tour and the background color has a transparency setting. I also use the option "Extend menu to the tour size". On my screen the menu items cover about half the length of the bar. That part of the bar that doesn't contain the menu items (= the ext...

Multires in large tour only for individual panoramas

Not sure if I or anybody else already has mentioned that: Wouldn't it be possible to determine only specific panoramas in a tour to be displayed as multires panos? This feature would generate a tremendous improvement in terms of speed and file handling. I have a tour with 30+ panos where one big mul...

PTP2B4 crashed

I moved a project from my local WIN computer to my mobile Macbook. The project opens, but when I hit create tour I got an error message that the files could not be written to the output folder. Which of course is no surprise as the HD drive on the local puter has a different name. No problem so far,...

Re: Live Pano chroma key request

Should be no difference to current Krpano.
So I guess with the right video codec this already is possible.

Re: Is there a way to visually precisely place an image hots

Thank you.
My workaround so far is that for placement I zoom in and in the advanced options of the hotspot define the bottom as anchor point.
Thus it is possible to place a marker fairly well as long as the marker tip is at the bottom center of the hotspot.

Re: Zoom limits

Hahaha, of course not.
But at least what I entered in PTP is expected to also appear in the final xml.
It's still a long way, though.
(-> Kolor: look at the consistency of names given in PTP and appearance in the xml).

Is there a way to visually precisely place an image hotspot?

I have a hires pano where I want to place some image hotspots which have a pointing line.
I find the common spot placeholders in PTP are more or less useless for such cases.

I can try to replace that graphic but maybe there is a more convenient solution I haven't found yet?

Thx
