Re: Floor Plan Does not Display

For my next project I need a floor plan. When trying with RC1 this seems to be not working as I always only get a black rectangle where the floor plan should be. Currently tried to install the patch without success for different reasons. Please read my reply to the Floor-Plan-Patch-Thread. Oh, an I ...

Re: [PATCH - PANOTOUR PRO RC1] for FloorPlan plugin

With "to your file system" you mean the place where PTP has stored it's "KolorFloorPlan" files? 1. This was not so easy to find on my Mac, next time specify complete path please. 2. There is no KolorFlooPlan.tmpl file, only KolorFloorPlanBS.tmpl and KolorFloorPlanBSLE.tmpl What s...

Re: Major Build Problems

Looks like tile sizes got messed up.
Is this a freshly built tour or are you working on a project created with recent versions?

Re: what a mess !

Well said, Hans.
However, the real problems start if you know what you need, but you don't find what should be there ;-)

Re: Where is boxurl in final code

Finally! It's all there. Sorry, must have been too early for me this morning, I really should have seen these while searching for them. Yieehaaa! I managed to edit the tour to my needs and we are almost there now. I have small issue with the panorama menu now, but will open a new thread. EDIT: 30 mi...

Re: Where is boxurl in final code

Thank you, Gerald so I must have missed something while I was looking there.
Will see as soon as I'm back home.

Happy Christmas to you and the rest of the Kolor gang.

Re: Where is boxurl in final code

I searched all XMLs without luck before I dared to bother anybody with that.
Maybe it's somewhere else. With Kolor one never knows ^^

Re: Where is boxurl in final code

I had been looking there already but it seemed to be not there.

Again: I have 35 panoramas, in each is a hotspot that opens a websitebox that shows a text. Each text comes from a unique html. I need to find the URLs of these htmls in the code of my tour to alter them.

Re: Where is boxurl in final code

The URL is like ../name.html as benji told me.

But on my S3 I get something like a rights error and wanted to try the absolute URL.
But I have to do it in the code not in PTP because I made many changes.

So please, if you can answer my question, this is what would help.

Re: Where is boxurl in final code

Sure. To display text in a panorama I use a website box. The website box needs an html with the text. In PTP you specify the URL to the html. So far ok? My problem is it all worked fine locally but not from my S3 server. I wanted to try absolute URKs to see if that helps. I need to do it manually in...

Where is boxurl in final code

Does anyone know where I can access the url to display the text in a website box in the final code?

Re: How to create single resolution mobile tours?

It's all in the above. Nothing has to be implemented. I just want back what has been there from the beginning. Previous versions of PTP2 created for mobile devices cube faces with 512 and 1024 px. This is 12 files. Plus the ones for desktop, the total is 18 files for the image to upload. When I now ...

Re: How to create single resolution mobile tours?

There are MANY reasons not to use multires panoramas. But this is not the time and place to educate you. If the developers don't know, I can convince them immediately :) And I am not complaining, I just demand to get what PTP is offering to me and what is essential for tour creators. I demand to hav...

Re: How to create single resolution mobile tours?

Don't be silly. If one checks mobile devices for tour creation one expects to get files that are working on mobile devices, no? Single resolution tiles are essential if one wants to optimize time for file handling and upload. If you don't know what I'm talking about wait until you need to distribute...

How to create single resolution mobile tours?

I made a test and checked the boxes as in the screenshot and was expecting to get a set of files that allow to show a single resolution panorama on multiple platforms. To my surprise only one set of tiles was created at a cube face size of 3000+ px. I don't have to tell you what that means. So pleas...

Re: Cube Face Export Destroys Quality

Just as a side note: dpi settings have nothing to do with image quality or resolution on screen.
Only thing that counts is total pixel.

Re: Cannot Create Website Boxes with html text

We're talking about PTP2 Beta 4 or 5 where I had implemented it in my tour and then with RC1 wasn't working any more. Anyway, it's al history, and I don't care any more. Project is almost finished.

Re: Cannot Create Website Boxes with html text

Of course I know this syntax, but if I remember correctly in previous version this wasn't needed.
So I was under the impression that something else went wrong and spent hours debugging.

Re: Offsets

I second that.
Almost all plugins seem to have an offset.
Is there a serious reason for that?

Re: Panorama Menu: Hide submenu after click

It is not the extra click that's annoying but the missed opportunity to give the visitor a good experience. Which makes a big difference an also makes it by far more important than you think it is. I can assure you, it definitely IS a major issue because user experience is what our entire industry i...

Panorama Menu: Hide submenu after click

In the meantime you may know that I take care of many tiny details in the layout and design of the tours. Now that we have sorted out (almost all) the issues with transparency and as I made a huge progress towards the end of my progress I found another thing that is a bit annoying. The submenu below...

Re: Cannot Create Website Boxes with html text

That wasn't the case in recent versions!
I spent the entire afternoon to find out what's wrong!
You told me the files have to be in the same directory as the initial html.
If I do so your ./ still doesn't work because it has to be ../

Seriously ...

Cannot Create Website Boxes with html text

For me it is no longer possible to create a website box to display html text.
The box appears but remains blank. Local and from a server as well.
The same box displays weblinks, so nothing wrong with the implementation.
Anybody to confirm this?
