or to "move to new panorama" for the whole sub panorama (especially since with bracketed panos, the ones you want to move are in three different layers)
so rather than debating the price, let's talk about the benefits of having a cube camera gopro or knockoff either. can fit them much closer to together, and hide them in tiny places. and it's cool that the gopro at least is waterproof
Has anybody tried one of these with 360 video? I'm wondering if a nice 360 underwater/snorkeling rig could be built with these (more than 6 needed of course because of water acting as lens )
re: what I'm intending, I should have mentioned I will use the render option to prioritize focal length so where there's 300mm data it uses that, and where there isn't it aka the sky, it will use the 100mm.
I shot handheld which has worked perfectly fine in the past. By shooting at a wider angle, you can get part of the mountain in, and much more of the sky, since often autopano isn't able to find control points in the only sky images. Even with that technique you can see that I have the upper left and...
There are some images of sky without sufficient control points, but the basic problem is that there is a full image of the mountain in 100mm and a full image in 300mm, and I have put some control points in to link the two but not in every single one. However, the control points don't shift the 100mm...
I'm trying to stitch a set of 354 images, in two different focal lengths 100mm and 300mm. The default stitch found all the images as belonging to one panorama but with multiple unlinked subpanoramas (the automatic cleaning of bad points/links seemed to remove connections between the 100mm images and...
As I am currently saving 58 panos with extended save all as (to a subfolder called "panos" and then using the %p/%a) I wanted to reiterate the request "Batch actions for all panos -- render all using one set of settings, save all extended using one folder (%p/%a) etc". I'd really...
If you have a fully saved pano with no changes in the editor, and then you click the gear icon to render it, without changing any rendering settings, you get the asterisk after the name telling you the file needs to be saved. If you click the render gear icon from the main window it does not.
It'd be nice if you could double click sliders (like the percentage size in the render dialog) to return them to default. for example now that it goes beyond 100% to 150% that render size slider is difficult to get back to 100% after you move it (I end up typing the number in). Lightroom has this us...
How does Autopano choose the projection when in automatic mode? the wiki http://www.autopano.net/wiki-en/action/view/Autopano_-_Preferences..._-_Panorama says it's based on the FOV. But it often chooses planar for my panoramas for my panos when I think it's more cylindrical. The planar makes them lo...
It'd be nice when there are "sub-panoramas without any link between them and the main panorama." to have checkboxes to quickly hide the different sub panoramas. (turn on and off to see which images belong to the differnet sub panoramas and/or select them to "move to new panorama"...
Another wish: the ability to specify a minimum number of images for the detector. You can specify minimum number of images in the browse folder dialog, but that's only for creating image groups. I shoot bracketed images, and it often finds the images of a single stack as a panorama, so I'd like to b...
My wishlist: ⋅ Blender prioritize in focus images over out of focus images (basically use the region that has more high frequency data) ⋅ Batch actions for all panos -- render all using one set of settings, save all extended using one folder (%p/%a) etc ⋅ Blending level...
A while back the editor got much slower for me when stitching raw images. I think it used to use jpeg previews, but now the editor decodes the raw files in order to display the images in the window. I often just want to quick pop in and see what the pano would look like with one image disabled, or s...
Just to follow up on the topic, I think the "overlap percentage" should only use the reference level for calculation (rather than all images) as images in the stack tend to have almost 100%
Just revisiting this as I'm doing an extended save all as on 120 panoramas. I sure wish I could specify the root path once, and then let the %p/%a forum take over from there. Given that it has to copy the files then delete the files for each "move" I have a small time to wait (sometimes 200 files in...
When shooting bracketed panoramas, I often find myself having to undo the group by stack, in order to more easily remove a set of bracketed images. It would be nice to be able to right click on an image in the editor, and choose "remove stack" in addition to remove picture, and it would re...
are you stitching raw files or jpg/tiffs? with RAW files, I found a big bottle neck to be the speed of my temp drive as autopano writes out a tiff file to its cache for each raw file. So when using a ssd for autopano temp, my pano detection and renders were sped up dramatically. my graphics card spe...
but don't people think the "default" default? aka the preference set when you first install the program, should be the source image path? on windows I think it defaults to the desktop or the program files directory or something odd like that.
Oh the pano detection is brilliant. Takes my whole day of images and parses them out. Stack detection works nearly flawlessly on my canon raw files. I think kolor uses the embedded exposure adjustment edit info to generate the stacks and it works way better than Lightroom automatic stacking or any o...
