I think Linear blending is some form of averaging, I tried with a few 6400 ISO noisy images and result is much cleaner. This leads me to beleive that APG can be used for denoising via stacking. However, it would be even more useful if it allowed to chose the averaging function - to use median vs mea...

How to use different blending for stacks and pano?

I am trying to create a pano of the night sky. For each camera position I shot a stack of N frames, to blend them to reduce the noise. If i understand correctly, to reduce the noise, I need to use Linear blending within the stack. But to stitch the stacks together I would prefer Multiblend blending....

[APG3 B2] W7 64 - export from Bridge CS6

This is not a bug report, but a feature request.
Could TIF-16 be used between Bridge and APG?
Would it be possible to simply use the camera raw output as specified in the camera raw's development settings, not forcing it to use lossy jpg on the way to APG?
Thanks,
Michael

Yes, I know the workaround. It is just inconsistent: when crop is already applied, it should be rotated as well.

[APG3 B2] W7 64 Error in 90 rotation

When rotating panorama in editor using toolbar buttons, the pano gets rotated but the crop stays unchanged.
Crop should also follow the same rotation.

APG [3.0B1] Masking tools - tooltips

A simple request: It would be helpful to have the tooltips for the new Masking tools. I am not exactly sure what the difference is between left and right red and green icons. I understand that red is mask out, green - keep, but what is the difference withing red and green icons? I assume that left i...

Thanks for the reply. I decided to go with the Nvidia GTX 480 video card for now, looking forward to a future upgrade to a quad SLI with 2 GTX 690 cards, when SLI configuration will have a greater benefit for APG and other imaging applications. GTX 480 provides upto 65% of performance at 20% of the ...

Alexandre, could you please share a quick advice - would APG 2.6 and 3 benefit from NVidia GTX 690, compared to single GPU cards?
I have the entire system assembled, just need to buy the graphics card:) Its a $1000 card, so just wanted to be sure that it could be utilized.

Alexandre, thanks for the explanation. It would be infinitely more useful to have the individual images embedded in such corrected state that they would be better suitable for manual blending. The individual layers should be gradually gamma/exp/color adjusted based on the weights calculated during b...

PSD to include color corrected inputs

Alexandre, could a new option be added for layered PSD output - so that layers with input images would be color corrected.
This will make it easier to blend them to manually fix stitching errors.
Otherwise manual color correction is required here as well.

Thanks,
Michael
