Hello Thomas, Seems like different situation, as seperate images are added to a existing group. I am loading in large number of fish-eye pictures using the CTRL+B/browse folder option, that I want detected with MY settings, not the general fisheye settings. if I had wanted those I would have chosen...

Hello, When creating a group from fisheye pictures, the settings are set to the 'Fisheye' preset, and therefore several editor parameters are not transfered to group. Here is a short discussion on that topic : http://www.kolor.com/forum/t16104-custom-preferences&action=new Concerning the focal trunc...

Hello Marco,

Could you please check available disk space for both rendering and temporary folders, to see if Autopano is running out of space or not?
By the way, it would be interseting for us to know if the crash also occurs on Autopano V3.0 beta 2.

Thanks,
Thomas

Hello, Thanks for pointing that. In Autopano 3, we try to use the gpu to do more work to improve customer experience during edition. But, as you might know, doing more job on the gpu also mean using more functions in our shader programs. Ensuring compatibilty with older gpu is very hard, and we do o...

Hello Nick,

As Autopano performs very expensive computations to render the panoramas, it does not release the used memory to the system but recycles it fo the next computations. Therefore, one can see it as a memory leak, but it isn't. If you need RAM, just close Autopano.

Thomas

Hi Leifs and Georg, If you see your photographs in the editor and the gpu is activated, then it works! and therefore it is only the test that's failing. From our latest tests, it seems that the test was not compliant with the latest nVidia drivers. This issue will be solved in coming releases. Regar...

Hello,

In the advanced rendering options (or in the preview options in Autopano 3.0), you can simply give priority to 'long focal' pictures. Doing that, the pictures with the larger focals will be 'on the top' of the ones with lower focal lengths.

Does it solve your problem ?

Thomas

Hello, From krPano homepage, it accepts Photoshop files as input, so it does not matter you have Photoshop installed or not. By the way, if the size of the output file is too big, you can just reduce the size at rendering time. Of course, if you are interested in having an interactive result easily,...

Hello, Having a separate batch render window is a common feature request. Nevertheless, as you know Autopano try to use a large amount of memory to do the job. Separating the editor and the renderer might cause some memory issues, because the 2 applications would like to use almost all memory, degra...

After a deeper look at your case, we found that the test of the memory capabilities is not as expected, so we opened issue 1549 for that.

Thanks for reporting this issue.

Thanks to all for those valuable feedbacks. I have just do some test on a GTX 285. As you mentionned, the GPU test succeed with the older drivers and fails with the newer ones. Nevertheless, the pano preview and the editor behave well in both cases (the pano is rendered nicely) ! As there is no fall...

Hello,

Autopano 2.6.4 does not make intensive use of the GPU, that's why it worked well in your case.
Nevertheless, the results of the GPU test and the driver version you use are of great help for us to improve support.

Thanks,
Thomas

I have tried the font book fix, but still crashes: Are you refering to that : http://www.autopano.net/wiki-en/action/view/Autopano_under_Mac If so, then it is a quite strange behavior that we never found, we will give a look at it. By the way, did you try the Autopano 3 beta version ? Thanks, Thomas
