Hello Leifs,

The local geometric analysis on right-click is solved in the coming version.
Concerning the button in the control point editor, it does geometric analysis on the whole pano.

Thomas

Hello, Thanks for the files. The same problem exists in this pano. I really wonder how we created a such pano. I noticed in your pano file, that some images are not in any layers (IMG_1964.JPG,...., IMG_1978.JPG). Are they duplicates of other images, are those images valid ? Any feedback is welcome....

Hi Andreas,

It seems that there is a bug on the displayed size when autopano is in CPU mode. Can you please try to render the pano ? The size should be ok here.
Or, just try the GPU mode if you can.

Thomas

Hello, We gave a look at the .pano file and at the crash report. It appears that the structure of the .pano file is really strange, and causes Autopano to crash. From the .pano file, we can see that you are using 212 images, but the layer contains only 197 images. Therefore, there are some images wh...

Hello, Thanks. The whole solution will include an upload to a server. It will come in next releases. So, from this report, it appears that the crash is linked to the structure of the pano. You said in your previous messages that you uploaded the .pano file, but I can't it anywhere on the ftp server....

Hello Andreas, The total size of the picture depends on the computed focals. As the pano is still not optimized, it is possible that the size is wrong (and it is, here). Could you please continue the links cleaning I suggest in my previous message, and run optimization. The focals will get optimized...

Hello Andreas, From what I understand, it seems that there are very bad links in your pano, otherwise autopano does not find such huge focals. Therefore, I suggest you to change the settings in the gigapan importer to 'skip optimisation'. Doing that, you can follow the tutorial http://www.autopano.n...

In the 'Lens distortion correction' box, check 'Enabled' if not already selected,
and select 'Force identic' for 'Focal calculation'.

Hope it helps,

Hello Andreas,

If all the pictures were done with the same focal, you might try to change the optimisation settings to force the same focal value for all pictures (Group Parameters > Optimisation).

Hello,

As you might see, the beta3 version of Autopano 3 is available. It includes several linux fix and a crash handler to help us to debug the kind of issue you are facing.
It would be very helpful if you can give a try to this new version.

Hello,

The bug will be fixed in the coming version. But just note one limitation.
Instead of using --output=%O, please just use --output %O. The equal sign is useless.

Hi, We have just give a try to your pano. One important point is about your pictures, they all have a thin black area in the left upper corner. This kind of defaults results in large dark bands during the blend. You can see it clearly on the ceiling. Nevertheless, we did not reproduce the first defa...

Hello,

The JPG conversion is part of the Bridge process, and therefore we do not have a lot of control on that.
If you want to have loseless process, please consider developping your raw files with cameraRaw or Lightroom to have 16-bit tiffs.
Hope it helps.

Hi, Sorry Georg, I missed telling something. The number of pictures can be different than the size of the grid, but here I suspect that there is 1 file that is not a picture (The difference between the 2 numbers was just a hint). Bonjour,

Autopano récupère les informations d'orientation dans les EXIF des fichiers, donc il n'y a pas besoin de faire les rotations dont vous parlez si les EXIFs sont bien renseignés.

Cordialement,
Thomas
