FTP Not Working ....

The FTP Upload on PanoTour Pro doesn't work (at least for me.) I think I've isolated what the issue is. The directory on my machine for web stuff is public_html so if I try to upload the files to: public_html/test_tour it doens't work. Why? PanoTour Pro prepends a "/" which makes it: /public_html/te...

Yes, I'm using the latest version. But I've been playing with Giga since the 2.x version on a trial basis. I've had this same problem since then so I'm always hesitant to use the editor and when I do, I make sure I finish my stitch before closing it.

I've had similar issues with Photomatix. If you look at this 15 gigapixel panorama (stitched with Gigapan's stitcher) that I put together this fall: http://www.gigapan.com/gigapans/114571 you will notice that the sky especially on the right side is all wonky. The difference in tonality comes from th...

AutoPano Giga 3 Crashes when Editor Window Closes ...

This is probably known about since this was in the previous version of AutoPano as well but when I close the editor window, the entire AutoPano crashes. The last time, I was rendering at the same time I was mucking with the editor so that may or may not have something to do with it.

Thanks for the help / input. Yes, it is strange that if the panorama is stitched with just the one layer (normal exposure), it processes just fine without ghosting. Yet when the same image is used (since it is raw and has the latitude) to create a series of pictures of varying exposures (-2, -1, 0, ...

Strange ghosting with HDR ....

I have just come back from a trip to California where I took some panos at Big Sur and Point Lobos. When shooting the photos, I bracketed but when I processed them, I simply converted my regularly exposed "raw" image to a set of five images with exposures of : -2, -1, 0, +1, +2 (I figure I can get a...

AutoPano Giga 3, Gigapan, and Empty Skies ....

I've had a bear of a time dealing with the sky using AutoPano 2.x since there are no features in the sky often times for the software to identify for sitching. Even so, there should be a way to do this since I'm using a Gigapan head so all the photos are shot in a regular pattern as are the overlaps...

Is there somewhere that explains this? Optimially I'd like to see a grid where I can put them in order and move the pictures around. Then have it look for control points but also realize that there is a standard overlap so when it can't find control points (such as with the sky) just rely on the sta...

Dealing with the Sky ....

I am running the trial version of Autopano Giga 2.6 and am trying to get my stitching down before plunging into the entire package. I'm having problems when sitching images that contain swaths of sky. AutoPano wants to recognize these as entirely separate panoramas and then the one panorama that I'm...
