'Extended save as' I was hoping to point you to the text in the wiki documentation, but I failed to find any. So I tried it out on two images. The extended means that the source images are saved as well as the project (.pano) file. I could say more but suggest a similar trial. Pick any two test imag...

For the record: to be extra sure, I have just downloaded and re-installed 1.4.2. EOS450D is in the cameras (recognised) file - and it is also in the file with the 1.9 beta versionn. (This is cameras.txt in the resources folder.)

Alexandre,

I can see this thread is sticky but its length and age may undermine your on-going sense of urgency.

Suggest start new sticky thread with heading that makes the point about submissions always welcome - that is until your need is met when the thread can be 'unstuck'.

In 1.4.2 Edit | Settings you can see that, in Editor tab the blenders available do not include Smartblend but, under the Render Tab the default setting is Smartblend. This might account for the differences you report. (Multiband is available under both.)

Alexandre , "The Book" has just been delivered. It is a truly beautiful work - brought tears to my eyes, which happens rarely. Now all I have to do is go to all these places. (Very much hope that any remaining difficulties in the purchasing process do not put people off, and are ironed out soon) Ho...

I followed the tip about going to my account and adding a telephone number. It worked. I have now successfully bought the book and I have had a confirmatory email. Alexandre, what an enterprise, well done: look forward to seeing the book before my family do. Suggestion: could you do a sticky post, i...

Ok, this is where I got to just now. I started at the beginning through selecting 'Buy' from the main menu options. I then selected English as the language (top right-hand corner). Rather than try any existing passwords I selected forgotten password and then did get an email with a new password. I l...

Yup, I am really looking forward to being able to send the Panobook to my daughter and her partner, both for many years devotees of photography, and ideal recipients of such a present.

I am trying to buy the Panobook. Site tells me that my email address is already known but none of the passwords I have tried so far are valid. Specifically the password I know of for buy.kolor.com is not recognised. I see some postings below mostly in French. Could we have some specific advice in En...

Kolor Pano book as present

I believe Christmas will be here fairly soon.

I write from the UK. Supposing I wanted to give *the* book of the year as a present... Is it on Amazon, etc?

And hope we all enjoy the break. For me at least has been a long year.

This is a negative result and so only a little help if at all, but the G1 is not in APP's cameras index so no user has yet put G1 images into APP and submitted to Kolor when told camera not recognised. (I see the first entry in dpreview is dated 12 September 2008 http://www.dpreview.com/news/0809/08...

In the CP Editor I had to set both strong algorithm and high detector quality. Drawing the marquees, I included all the overlap - the island in the background on its own doesn't work, for me. Also, doing a detection then removing the detected points then doing the detection again one gets a differin...

Welcome to the APP forum. When asking for advice, there are things that are helpful: 1. please give the name of the version of APP and the operating system you are using, eg Widows XP SP3, V1.4.2 2. since an image trumps a thousand words, one or more screenshots can be added to your posts. See 'uplo...

Another contribution in English. The reason I found out about the trick of re-sorting the images was not to do with existing points of control. I had images hard to connect and wished to add new points. Identifying small overlaps when the images were displayed in the wrong direction, in the Control ...

For images within a group EXIF data can be changed by clicking the settings icon in the group window (the left pointing hand) and going to the right hand side field 'Lens type' and there changing Fisheye to Standard - this will apply to all the images in a group. APP is supported by two files 'camer...

A point of clarification: when rendering, have you tried blending using 'multiband'?

Might help to give forum members access to the problem images. I confess to not knowing the best way(s) to make images available generally. But others will!

I attach a screen dump of a stitched solution. This is the workflow I used: 1. I used 'select images' to load the two source images into a group 2. using the settings icon for that group (spanner + screwdriver) I set 'force every image to be in the same panorama' 3. I then set off detection which di...

Good morning.

I am off to London, it's my daughter's birthday and am choosing not to take my laptop with me.

Why say this? We are at 1997 members so we may get to 2000 while I am off-air.

Don't forget to join up: like Alexandre says, there's a free panobook for the 2000th.
