[1.4 A1 Win] Icons in Panorama Editor

1. We have got new machinery, and so more 'real-estate' for icons, in the panorama editor. Could we have an icon for settings, please!

2. In the PE, there is an new icon for the CP Editor. The icon displayed under help (what is this) is the old one. [Still the case in 1.4 A3]

Thanks for the advice so far -- but keep it coming, please, if others want to join in.

On price of the 5D. WarehouseExpress will do you £1499 after cashback. But, yes, that is the lowest available new. Unless you want to go to Hong Kong, via eBay!

Can I endorse further the request to be able to cancel operations.

Yesterday I was trying out 'local geometry analysis' and 'local optimize', on a panorama of over 50 images and had to kill both times, after a lot more than 15mins.

Upgrading with Canon

I am a serious but amateur photographer. * I have an EOS 20D and use various lenses with that, eg Sigma 150mm, Canon EFS 10-22, and Canon 50mm f1.8. (I also have a Manfrotto tripod and head bought for other applications: I mostly take my panos hand-held or using a monopod.) I have just bought a Sigm...

Aural feedback

APP gives aural(sound) feedback, eg the 'pop' when a render is selected. While a render is being done, for instance, the average response times can go up for even basic operations, like closing a pano editor window. Could we have some sort of sound, even for these basic operations. btw: that 'render...

Touché...

However (now you have made me really think), a useful variant would be to copy into a new group any images already selected in another group. Not essential, but save work!

Various versions 'same' pano

Not sure how the new interface will interact with the following two points, so put in same posting, for now: I have a very wide pano which deliberately contains several views of a helicopter landing. I want to try out various versions of this pano in two ways: 1) how many helicopters I leave in 2) v...

If an (amateur) Canon user may chip in. I have an EOS20D that came, second hand, with the EF-S 10-22mm. I am already using this successfully for panoramas especially when one is forced to be closer to the object, eg a building. I only get ticked off by APP for using a fish-eye some of the time (to d...

Agreed: I am an amateur and I think APP excellent value for money; and compare APP cost with the cost of photographic kit! Not the point of this thread but...

I have a folder called (say) "MyFirstPictures". I have taken browse folder action against a sub-folder called, say "0502". I now want to browse another (sub) folder at the same level, say "0503". "0502" shows in "folder where to look.." I assert browse "..." button and get to "0502" under "MyFirst.....
