Is this when viewing online or local ? If its local then maybe its a flash security setting. Its working in your first example when I viewed it online.

4 directions from top of building ?

I`m wondering whats the best way to shoot gigapixel view from a large building. 360 isnt possible. I may shoot 4 directions 180, but then I will end up with 4 panos, the other solution might be to shoot 8 directions 90 degrees with flat projection and show it as one pano in flat projection and endle...

Theres no need for a watermark tool in APP. Its just feature bloat. APP rendering is NOT the last stage before publishing.

APT & Editor plugin

I`d like to request inclution of the editor plugin when working with APT authoring. An option to include editor plugin when rendering, to make it easy to switch between authoring in APT and the editor plugin. Then all we have to do on final rendering is to tick off the editor plugin. APT will always...

Time-Lapse stitching

I know there have been some tests to stitch video with APP server. May it be possible to let APP stitch time-lapse ? 2-4 shots pr frame. Maybe as a special version or plugin ? A time-lapse shot will have fixed camera positions so its not necessary to compute cp`s for all frames, just once. Imagine a...

Thats cool. I dont have a head yet, but this script is a timesaver when shooting sphericals with wide lenses and might be my reason to get a PapyWizard setup for tricky places like under a bridge, on top of masts etc.

I guess it would, depends on triggering level though, but there are plenty of dedicated solutions: http://lightningtrigger.com/

Yep, the TimeMachine controller is used in many hi-end timelapse productions. It may be useful in panorama photography when you want some hard to capture action in the scene, like when shooting wildlife or hazardious industrial processes where remote control wont do, or things happen to fast, like i...

I`m working on a case with 3-4 gigapixel images and 20-30 medium+ sized panos. I think there will be some market for gigapixel to gigapixel narration too.

One important feature to include is the ability to import the xml/tiles made from krpanotools to integrate in the authoring process.

By the look of the 5-6 gigapixel church image by Julian Kalmar he used krpanotools 1.08 kmakemultires: http://photoartkalmar.com/Photoart%20Kalmar%20high%20res/Gigapixel/Peterskirche%20VR/Peterskirche.xml - <krpano version="1.0.8"> - <!-- kmakemultires standard_skin.xml template --> - <level tiledim...

I just used it succsesfully for 1.5 giga images. Maybe KrPano can use the tiles from Gigatiler or Zoomify Export in PS ? http://www.krpano.com/forum/wbb/index.php?page=Thread&postID=322 Read about zoomify tiles in the forum. The possibility to use Zoomify tiles: * I'm still not sure if it's allowed ...

I would use TimeMachine with some sensor and some mechanical device to measure distance like a 32 cm radius wheel.

It will also come in handy for future tech projects.

Don't forget Julian Kalmar: http://photoartkalmar.com/Photoart%20Kalmar%20high%20res/Gigapixel/index.html Yep! Outstanding quality in sharpness/resolution. As it is with your church-pano - great! best, Klaus Yes, Julians church panos are one of the top images I`ve seen, and it is scripted to make t...

Sure some great work posted here. Regarding sparse images, I`m talking about more resolution in some areas not less in some. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc645077%28VS.95%29.aspx#Sparse_Images I believe the great example made by Dorin Godja is an image stitched with both hi and low resolu...

Just adding some thougts to the discusion: Actually I find it uninspiring to use time and effort to shoot hires sky, if theres no story in it like birds, planes, clouds etc and I`m thinking about shooting sky medium res since theres no point in zooming into details. I hope we soon will se better vie...

Cool.

Is this a showcase or a commercial assignment ? ( My challenge were to post one panoramic per day ), and will the panos be integrated elsewhere than 360 cities ?

Latest build from Helmut Dersch seems pretty fast when it comes to stitching: http://webuser.hs-furtwangen.de/~dersch/PTStitcherNG/PTStitcherNG.html 337 x 6 MPixel ------->1433 MPixel cylinder in 250 sec (4min 10 sec) on Intel Celeron 1.8GHz, 1 GByte ram, Nvidia GeForce GTX 285, OpenSUSE 11.1

Thats cool.

May I suggest using OpenZoom Tango/Nanoinstead of Zoomify ?

It will give much cleaner zooming, and you may export from PS like with Zoomify. Check http://github.com/openzoom/tango
