Jesse, I did like your hover over buttons/hotspots with the shadow underneath....this is the sort of thing that I would like to be able to do....is this (at the moment) to advanced for a non programming person? Regards, Neil. The shadow is in the hotspot image itself, no coding included. This kind ...

Thanks Hans! It indeed is a great spot :)

I refined the quality of our panoramas a bit so which one you find better, this one or this: http://imagery.fi/virtualtours/lakefinland/landscape.html

Just check the picture quality, details and so on to compare :) Thanks!

Stop on a roadtrip

Hi! Let me share this beautiful resting spot where you can stop the car for a moment, breath the fresh air from the lake, listen to the calm sound of waves and watch the birds play. It's on a small road around Konnevesi, Finland. The road i drive every other month :) http://imagery.fi/virtualtours/l...

If you specify a SWF animation as a custom hotspot Display/Object then it will be displayed when the (mobile-compatible) tour is viewed on a Flash-enabled platform. When the tour is viewed on an iDevice a pulsing circles animated GIF is substituted for the SWF animation. This i have noticed too. An...

Flash not supporting giff. Strange indeed. I solved the hotspot problem easily, not using animated hotspots :D Just onhover action for devices supporting it. But as you said, creating xml-driven animated hotspots seem to be only way to make them to work on all platforms. All this trouble just becaus...

The default ones are using xml to make the animation via cropping an image with frames. By creating a giff animation you can do it i suppose, not sure if idevices support that. But You can do same as the default ones by dragging the default spots image from data folder to program you are using to ma...

Glad to help :) A small tip: don't use .swf hotspots if you want your custom hotspots show with iphone/ipad. For them .swf are not supported and it will just load default ones. instead use jpg or png :)

There is an easy way to modify the hotspots without touching xml :) You can put own hotspots inside ptp. Select the hotspot you want and you will see display and there is object. From the dropdown menu just set "other..." and select your custom hotspot and it will add it :) If this is what you basic...

It looks hard when you first lay your eyes on it, i know! But after you start looking what do what and how through examples from here: http://krpano.com/docu/ http://krpano.com/plugins/ After you get the point how to use plugins and actions, little by little you can start building your knowledge :) ...

Well, it depends how much you modify things with xml. If you just export tour and don't want to even touch xml, embedding is fine. It will work like normal flash without needing to do much to implement it on websites. Personally i prefer not embedding because i heavily add things with xml and most o...

Hi firefire! Your panorama is definitely not too large. One panorama for me is avg 30-35mb but i shoot hdr and without any compression of the images. So you should not worry about the size :) Regards, Jesse Passoja Nelike Imagery www.inelike.fi One page portfolio: http://inelike.fi/aiheeton/latest-p...
