Do I need another bracket so my canon lens does have better angel to see "under" the merlin? Which brackets are you using? many th...

Georg, The preset assumes the starting of the pano whether it is a partial pano (mosaic) or a 360 degree that top-left is set to 0 yaw and 0 pitch. By this, when you do the 360 pano (like the one you generated the preset), then the head needs to be physically in the zenith position - that is camera...

I did try it with: Format: 35mm (1.6 Crop, 3:2 Aspect Ratio, Landscape orientation) Focal Length: 18mm lens, overlap: 25%, Horizontal FOV: 53.3, Vertical FOV: 33.9 Rows: 6, Columns: 7 Target: Horizontal FOV: 389.1, Vertical FOV: 214.7 but result shows me only negative pitch values for all images and...

I tried it successfully with 45 images (3,6,9,9,9,6,3) with smartblend,multiband,72dpi, lens: 18mm factor 1.6 (even with autofocus and all other auto mode too). Liebe Gruesse, Georg It seems you are shooting far more images than are necessary to provide 360x180 coverage: http://www.vrwave.com/panor...

@gkaefer That depends how many of your 10MP images you want to be stitching together. Also you neglected to mention how much space you have on your scratch/temp disk. If you are just doing a few pictures you should be fine on just about any reasonable system. However if you are going into the gigap...

papywizzard documentation... Mosaic vs. Preset mode

Hi all, on papywizzard doc is stated: Papywizard has now 2 modes: Mosaic mode, and Preset mode. The first one is mainly used for partial panos, and is especially designed for hi-res panos, using a large tele-lens. The second one is designed for full-spherical panos, using a wide-lens or a fisheye. w...
