If you can post a copy of the image and the area's that have you are having issues with then that would help further suggestions. Perhaps adding some manual control points via the Control Point editor to the end/start of the line to aid stitching if you have not done so already.

Why would you be using PTGUI when this is a forum for APP/APG? ;):cool: Because my workflow is PTGui (because I'm a cheapskate :D ) followed by PTP and this is posted in the PTP section of the forum not the APP/APG section. But if APP/APG has a viewpoint correction feature for stitching i...

Off the top of my head I thought that when you select the map from the Extra's option and select BING as the map source, it then shows the map in the hotspot editor. this gives you the option to search for a location, place the hotspot and also adjust the radar direction, angle & colour etc.

fantastically exposed and detailed imagery Jesse. On the photo gallery, is this just a test given 2 or 3 repeated images?

Competitor to the girocam?

I've received an email from Andrew Baddeley (aka Badders) formely of 360 Tactical VR advising that he has closed down that business and is now an Account Manager for NCTech who have launched an equivalent/competitor to the girocam. Link here to their new product: http://www.nctech.co.uk/index.php

To answer your question, PTP can only create a little planet introduction as part of the tours SWF. If you with to create a static JPG little planet then this cannot be done in PTP and I refer you back to my post on the 2012-03-20 15:07:10 as this shows you how to create a JPG little planet

With a RAW format that is effectively the negative to enable you to adjust and export to a workable format. Make the changes to all images at the same time so they are consistent and then export them to another format is my process. Not clear why you are editing the RAW to then use the adjusted RAW ...

does it really matter if the case is white or black? surely the tour being displayed, your hard work, is more important rather than the Apple product!

When you do a "post reply", not a quick reply, following the "message" section where you type, it give you the option for "Image Upload" Select the number of slots you want and you can then browse for them. Note the images won't necessarily be shown in the order you upload them in - think it is alph...

That is correct, when you embed the xml is included in the swf file which a) makes it larger and therefore more time to download and b) means that if you wish to enhance it yourself then you cannot. The xml file is like an instruction file for the tour, telling it how differing elements for the tour...

no probs. Post if you have any other questions and I'm sure everyone here on the forum will be able to help out. It is a learning curve doing these tours beyond taking the photo's and there are still things in APG and PTP that I learn each time I read new postings. Search and ask are what I do here ...

Hi vesnice8, firstly if you select "no" on embed xml files not only will this make the tour quicker to download but it will also give your programmer to the xml file(s) for the tour if you want to customise it further and beyond what PTP generates. "use existing xml files" allows you to reuse a prev...

I'm with Tom on this. The first one is way to dark to actual view anything unless you were looking for a dark, moody and under-exposed look! At the least you could look to do a level adjustment to see if you can reduce the darkness and make some detail visible. Second shot is better as you can see s...
