Re: How can I delete this line in the sky???

The issue is getting the seam into the middle of the image away from the two extreme edges I understood Photoshop has the facility to reorientate a 360 image in this way so the ordinary healing tools could be used and then move the image back to its previous orientation I don#t own Photoshop and wit...

Re: Editing html for facebook sharing [SOLVED]

Probably not the solution to this problem but I have had postings to Facebook where everything looked OK but the thumbnail didn't show I discovered that the reason is that there is a minimum size for thumbnails on Facebook and I always make mine greater than 400 x 70 pixels in all directions now I'm...

Re: Why don't I get any reply to my question on blurred expo [SOLVED]

It looks as though you are viewing the rendered version in Windows Live photo Gallery I use this for viewing and have noticed that there is a size limit of (about) 80Mpx on editing. If the image is too big to edit it also presents the view as blurred as in your example. This is a feature of Windows ...

Re: Blurred pictures when mixing the hole panorama (preview

Hello, Click the Blend tool to be sure the preview is enabled. That being said, once you click the preview button, you can see a green rectangle: If there is insufficient resources to process the whole blended panorama then when you select fusion the red rectangle around the preview image will stay...

Re: Panotour ruins the original quality of jpeg panoramas.

need to generate the tour with the zoom set to max (4000%) so that you can zoom right down to the details You mean "zoom right down to the pixels" . . you wouldn´t see any "details" @4000% ;) Klaus The 4000% is just an enabler available in PTP - the samples above are abou...

Re: Panotour ruins the original quality of jpeg panoramas.

Hey Martin! To be honest: mixing planar images and full spherical images very, very often building tours of average 4-6 Gigapixels i NEVER realized significantly diminuished resolution between in- and output extending the normal values. I use to use TIFFs for input. I very rarely use JPG as input f...

Re: Photostitching with 100-150 photos

To get every image in one panorama used Edit | Settings as shown below

It sounds as though some of the overlaps have no control points so you will probably need to go through and add them in manually yourself

Re: Panotour ruins the original quality of jpeg panoramas.

hi Klaus In answer to that specific question:- A mixture of full equirectangular and planar behaves exactly the same as full equirectangular plus partial spherical in that the full 360x180 has the same resolution as the original jpg or tif etc. but the partial is severely downgraded (in ptp 2.5) bu...

Re: Panotour ruins the original quality of jpeg panoramas.

That is to say that the full equirectangular 360x180 panoramas in the tour have the resolution of the original jpg files whilst the partial panorama constituents suffer from the large drop in resolution as described in my post above (for PTP2.5) as explained I understand you´re referring to equirec...

Re: Panotour ruins the original quality of jpeg panoramas.

There was an earlier post on here regarding this topic where a contributor also reported that if you have a tour and just one of the constituent panoramas isn't a full equirectangular then under PTP 2.5 this resolution issue will be present for the whole tour - I haven't tested for this myself I ha...

Re: Panotour ruins the original quality of jpeg panoramas.

I have done some tests comparing the resolution of the outputs from Panotour compared to the resolution of the jpg file of the panorama (I used jpg quality =9 in the builds) For versions of Panotour before 2.5 there is no significant difference in resolution for any type of panorama For Panotour 2.5...

Re: Mask Edition - object appear and disappear problem

I wasn't sure from your description whether you had used the masking tool correctly It is not a general "erase" or "keep" tool. It is only used where there is an overlap area between 2 or more images in the panorama. It basically helps APG decide which parts of which image should...

Crop + Autofill option

I was taking a look at free stitching software on the internet for a friend and as expected none of them is anywhere near as sophisticated as APP/APG (Kolor will be pleased to hear !) Re: Partial 360X51 degrees panorama build in low resolution [SOLVED]

Hi Michael I found (from an earlier post in here) that rather than just deleting the line ,html5:"prefer" in the html script, you replace that line with ,html5:"fallback" then the flash version gets picked up OK and the full resolution for non 360x180 panos is provided (providing...

Re: Blown out Windows

I just downloaded your images and put them into APG What I see is that you are not doing the bracketing correctly Your download file had 5 bracketed sets of 3 images each but not all with anything like the same exposures in each set You are meant to use identical sets of exposure/aperture/ISO in eac...

Did you actually run the fusion tool itself though during your editing ?

Your screenshot doesn't look as though fusion has actually been carried out

It doesn't look like you used the Fusion Tool on these. This is what controls the exposure of different parts of the bracketed image set not the masking tool

Re: Partial 360X51 degrees panorama build in low resolution [SOLVED]

It's a KrPano restriction, the KrPano HTML5 player simply does not support multiresolution partial panoramas at this moment. I don't have an ETA on when or if ever this wil be developped by KrPano. If you want to use the Flash player in your 2.5 tours, build the tour with the flash fallback, and ed...

Re: Partial 360X51 degrees panorama build in low resolution [SOLVED]

Partial panoramas with multi-resolution are not supported in the HTML5 player, they only get mono-resolution which is limited to the cube-faces. In previous versions you were using the Flash player on desktop, which does support multi-resolution partial panoramas, but you'd still have had the low r...
