Re: No Project Name nor Thumbnail on social share

I have experienced problems with the thumbnail not appearing on Facebook links as well It normally resolves if you make the thumbnail jpg a little bigger. From experience I have found that it has to be at least 400 x 85 pixels. Also before setting up the direct link to Facebook, you have to pass the...

Re: Proper HDR workflow

Hello! I just want to know what is the proper or best way to work on panoramas with 3 different exposures and how to blend them correctly? Here is what I do and if you may, please tell me if what I am doing is wrong: 1. Shoot panorama with 3 exposures 2. Import photos to lightroom 3. Edit photos (a...

Re: I must be missing something, no zoom, no multiresolution

I noticed that you are building a tour under PTP with the input of a partial spherical panorama (i.e not 360x180) and I was just wondering whther you have fallen foul of the new restrictions on Flash Player If you are using PTP 2.5.5. or higher, this will only use HTML and not Flash Player to displa...

Re: 360 panoramas for FB

1. The panorama has to be exactly equirectangular (360x180) which can be checked via the photo pixel properties as N x N/2. APG can output in this format by adding a blank border even if the original panorama is smaller than this 2. Update the exif information (e.g. using exiftoolgui) to set the mak...

Re: Day/Night blending

You need to use the Keepview, just follow instructions here... ... http://www.kolor.com/wiki-en/action/view/Panotour_-_Advanced_-_Using_the_Keepview_tag Destiny.... I think the example Klaus showed with blending is only available in krpano and not in PTP (If I remember it uses a krpano cubeface twe...

Re: Stitching hand shots/complex zones [SOLVED]

It is OK to photograph landscape panoramas hand-held but for close up indoor shots like these you have to use a tripod. The parallax errors caused by being even a few millimeters from the Non Parallax Point (NPP) result in huge stitching errors which cannot usually be cured by adding more CP's regar...

Re: Anti-Ghosting Between Stacks

You can Martin. But you will need to use XML code to achieve it since features will be lost on some EVs.. Even though you can do it, its not in my view a practical way to do it.. Destiny... Is this documented anywhere Destiny ? I was making reference to the APG (non-)processing of bracketed sets. I...

Re: Anti-Ghosting Between Stacks

The best way is to fuse the separate images in Photomatix first then use APG to combine the fused output into a panorama I say this from personal experience and not a small amount of annoyance with Kolor I paid to upgrade from APP to APG some while ago and the bracket merging facilities don't and ha...

Re: Upload Panorama to Facebook

Thx. But how to change in the Autopano Renderer ?. It dosen't allow to set a 1:2 aspect ratio. I would create the panorama as a spherical 360 x N panorama using APG. Using the stats on APG to read off the width in pixels and create a blank jpg file of width x width/2 to get the outline of the equir...

Re: Upload Panorama to Facebook

Facebook has specific requiremets for treating uploaded jpg files as 360 panos They have to be equirectangular (360 x 180) and the exif metadata must conform This article explains it quite well http://www.whitakerstudio.co.uk/blog/2016/6/15/facebook-360-photographs-tutorial best Martin

Re: Pano file not saving correctly [SOLVED]

I have been using APG again today and this "bug" seems to have gone away of its own accord so it may have been something else causing it on my own laptop.

I am flagging as solved but will re-raise if I spot it again

Pano file not saving correctly [SOLVED]

I am using APG 4.2.3 under Windows 10 build 1607 on a 64bit ASUS laptop with 12GB RAM I have come across a problem saving pano files This seems to apply to at least APG4.2.2 and 4.2.3 and on a number of sub-folders I tried + desktop It seems as though when the pano projection is amended (e.g from cy...

Re: Color Distortion Upon Stitch

FYI, these had been previously stitched just fine. This issue has been going on for a week or so with no solution. If it used to work OK for you then surely then it must be something gone amiss with your computer or you possibly need to reinstall APG As Destiny said perhaps you should run a driver ...

There is absolutely no reason this should be happening. In the meantime, I cannot use the program. Can anybody show the ideal settings when working with both RAW files and jpegs? Perhaps my settings have been off all along and this is happening from causes from it? No clue but need it fixed ASAP. :...

Re: Color Distortion Upon Stitch

As it is only 5 RAW images, the quickest way to resolve this is to upload the cr2 files to Dropbox Folder (or similar) and publish the url on here so that we can try for ourselves. Normally the problem gets resolved quite promptly like this

Re: Thumbnail size to share on fb! [SOLVED]

The newer Facebook facility of uploading a ...

Re: PTP 2.5 - tour images looking blurry on browser [SOLVED]

Partial panoramas aren't supported in multi-resolution in the HTML5 player, so you're only limited to the resolution of the cubefaces, which is very limited, meaning little to no zoom and lower quality. Full spherical panoramas (360x180°) do have access to multi-res, but there aren't any in your to...
