Re: Beginner Can't Get HDR Layer Output Option Again

When you were playing with the settings I think you adjusted the "Default Regroup" box in the panorama tab in the settings

This one has to be set to "bracket" or "stack" to switch on the layer export (I think)

best

Re: BUG!... ?? [SOLVED]

I really do believe there is a missing option with Stacks and Fusion. It does not remove ghosting.. If I add my pre-fused images and zoom into an area of concern, then press Preview, you can see the double imaging being removed, but that is not the case with stacked images. The double imaging remai...

Re: Ghosting on Stitched Panos

Can't see any ghosting in your screenshots but I can see quite a few stitching errors around the flower table and the armchair (where the overlap occurs) Judging by the colour of the CP's in the editor screen you have a very poor RMS (over 4 ?) so this is exactly the sort of output I would expect fr...

Re: The Mysterious Disappearing Ghosts

I did try HDR on v4.0 when I first got the full version and found that sadly (but not unexpectedly) anti-ghosting and alignment was just as bad for bracketed sets as it was in V3 (i.e. non-existent) In answer to your anti-masking mystery, I think you will find that this is operating on just one brac...

Re: DeGhosting Exterior Images

If these replicated objects are in overlap areas then they can often be reduced or eliminated by the use of anti-ghost setting and the masking tool Where an object appears multiple times or is incomplete and forms part of a unique section (i.e. not in an overlap) then AFAIK APG cannot be of help. My...

Re: Automatic rotation of panoramas

If you mean the centre point (on the screen) of a 360 pano, then you can click the point you want to be in the centre in edit mode and then click the "vanishing point" icon and that will re-orientate the pano for you. This is the icon with a white dotted cross and a red cross and green dot...

Re: What settings are required to have a LAYERED EXPORT DATA [SOLVED]

You should not need to do ghost removal in a separate editor unless you are talking about bracketed sets in APG
The Anti_Ghost setting and the masking tool should do it OK

Re: Blurr in Panorama

There is a better example of the blurring caused by stitching errors in your 2 samples on the single line of tiles separating the paved area from the tiled area on the forecourt

Re: Why do my links stop working after a short period?

I can create exactly the same link and somehow it works. But for some reason the other one won't. It's very confusing. The URL you posted results in 404 file not found error message for me. This may or may not be relevant, but I recommend that you avoid mixed case letters and spaces (if you wish us...

Re: Facebook [SOLVED]

Just one thing if that didn't work When I had this problem a few weeks ago, I had to rebuild the tour under a different name to what I originally called it as well as altering the thumbnail size in the new build. Facebook seemed to want to keep the old thumbnail size until I generated it with a new ...

Re: Facebook [SOLVED]

I doubt it's the same issue as yours but I had the same problem the other day in the tour worked OK but the preview as blank. I eventually tracked it down to the default thumbnail size produced by Panotour. This was a long but very narrow pano and the thumbnail height in pixels was too low for Faceb...

Re: Projection cylindrique sur 360° en boucle

When I first started putting panoramas on the web last year, I raised the same question you are asking with Kolor and Krpano. I can't find my Kolor posting but I got this from the krpano forum http://krpano.com/forum/wbb/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=10931 As Panotour uses krpano as kernel (I t...

Re: Projection cylindrique sur 360° en boucle

Thanks, I've tried this way, but result isn't ok at all. Spherical curves skyline, and changing vertical offset degrees gives no better result. I think you confuse between "crop" in spherical projection (so it's spheric) and cylindrical projection (it's really cylindric, equal planar) I m...

Re: Projection cylindrique sur 360° en boucle

I use cylindrical projections (360 x less than 180) quite a lot in panotour but I think you must use the spherical not planar option to get the full continuous revolution Adjusting the Vertical Offset degrees +/- camera angle gives pretty good results in most cases Martin ******* Je utilise des proj...

Re: Color correction not better than in 3.7 [SOLVED]

I had a short play around with these tiff files in v3.7 and v4.0B and also found not that much difference in colour correction but that V4 was just better This is what I got by just processing the files you posted with no additional editing This result still has a significant darkening going from L ...

I don't know if this is relevant in your case but I logged something similar here a while back but then discovered that it was down to the time taken for my hosting company to replicate updates across their own network. I am in the UK but my parent hosting is in the US For a few hours after an updat...

Re: MASK BRUSH

I would also like to see a mask brush / polygon selection. Here's two examples why: - Lens flares It's possible to mask it out but it's a bit of a hassle (sometimes the flares get masked out, sometimes they aren't and the preview is pretty slow on showing it). - Moving shrubberies/trees Wind can be...

Re: Color correction not better than in 3.7 [SOLVED]

Hi sebs, I can only echo what's already been said - the colour correction in 4.0 seems to me to be a lot better than 3.7 but you have to play around a bit with the different way of using the settings to get the best results The blending level slider in the edit in preview mode is still there in 4.0 ...
